Creature Comforts Curious 6 joins lineup April 30th

Creature Comforts Curious 6

Creature Comforts Curious 6 will be available to-go during a special tour on April 30th, 2016.

This sixth edition in the Curious Series starts as another one of the brewery’s very popular releases – Emergence, that has aged on Georgia peaches. In case you are’t familiar, Emergence is an American wild ale, fermented with the brewery’s house mixed culture yeast strain, aged in wine barrels.

Creature Comforts collaborated with Fort Valley, Georgia based Pearson Farms for Curious 6, selecting fresh peaches at the perfect time in order for the fruit to really pop in this beer.

“When drinking The Curious No. 6 you can expect the aroma to be as if you’ve sunk your teeth into the best peach you’ve ever had,” said Head Brewer and Co-Founder David Stein.

Above, brewmaster Adam Beauchamp pours Beer Street Journal a preview taste of this upcoming release. The peaches really do shine in this edition. Honestly, while you could very much cellar a wild ale, maybe considering drinking this one sooner rather than later. Keep those fresh peaches on the forefront of this beer.

Creature Comforts Curious 6 is limited to just a few hundred bottles, tour release only.

Style: American Wild Ale (w/ Peaches)

Epic Skeptic Barrel-Aged Peach IPA 2016

Share it with a friend – discuss UFO’s, the existence of a soul, how could homing pigeons possibly have ESP, who shot JFK… One thing’s for certain: this collaboration between Epic and Ska, aged in Peach Street Peach Brandy Barrels, is something you can believe in.

Wicked Weed Garcon de Ferme, a foeder beer with peaches

Wicked Weed Garcon de Ferme 2016

Wicked Weed Garcon de Ferme, a new foudre aged beer on the horizon from the Asheville, North Carolina based brewery.

Peaches highlight Garcon, an foeder aged American wild ale. The base farmhouse ale was fermented with house Brettanomyces, then blended with a golden sour ale.

Our craft honors our childhood lessons. We were lucky to learn ours the hard way: “stick with it,” “wipe your tears,” “Earn your calluses,” and “try to keep up with our ol’ man.” These are the lessons that stay, working their way into our weather flash and aching bones until they are as much a part of us as our own names.

Garson de Ferme is a foeder-rested, Brettanomcyes farmhouse ale.  After fermentation, this pleasantly tart ale is blended back onto over a pound and half per gallon of fresh, whole peaches to reflect and echo that the craft of the old has not been wasted on the young.

Wicked Weed Garcon de Ferme is a 500 milliliter bottle offering. The brewery has not yet announced this offering.

Style: American Wild Ale (w/ Peaches. Barrel Aged.)
Availability: 500ml Bottles
