Green Flash Retro Extra Pale Launches 5/16

Green Flash Brewing turns 10 years old this fall.  The brewery is debuting a Retro Extra Pale Ale in honor of their first successful release – Pale Ale.

Fall 2012 marks our 10 year anniversary and Extra Pale Ale was the first-ever Green Flash success.  A celebratory reminder of the beginning for us – and also about  how much our style and craft beer culture has evolved over the past decade.  While this early Millennium American-Style Pale is from a time less hoppy, we think our 2012 redux is the perfect summer vintage:  crisp, refreshing and bubbling with nostalgia.

Style: Pale Ale
Availability: 12 oz bottles, Draft.
Arrival: May 16th, 2012

We decided it was time to brew a slightly lower ABV beer with our favourite American hops giving you a thirst quenching draft ale in all our bars, just in time for the Summer! The new 3.8% Pale Ale is brewed with a solid malt base, moderate bitterness and masses of late hops and dry hops, specifically Citra, Simcoe and HBC. All this makes it ideal for drinking by the pint, or even by the keg. At lunchtime.

Style: Pale Ale

Like all OMB beers our RPA is brewed in strict accordance with the world famous German “Reinheitsgebot” beer purity law of 1516. First came Istedgade, then Sodermalm followed by Williamsburg and Shoreditch accompanied by Trastevere & El Ravel. This Hipster ale was dry-hopped with Citra, Summit, & Cascade – perfect as a tribute to our favorite up-and-coming Hipster neighborhood, Sonderho, DK.  Cheers to picture-perfect white sandy beaches, the Wadden Sea, and thatched-roof homes.
