Red Hare Hasenpfeffer Oktoberfest Headed To Cans

Red Hare  Hasenpfeffer Oktoberfest joined the brewery’s fall seasonal fall seasonal lineup in August of 2014. Then it was draft only, but in 2015, the brewery will be bringing the malt forward beer back in cans.

Hi-Wire Zirkusfest Kicks Off New Lager Lineup in September

Hi-Wire Zirkusfest will kick off a new lager series for the Asheville, North Carolina brewery.

In August, the brewery will debut a new Farmhouse Series lineup with Volume 1. Hi-Wire Zirkusfest, a traditional festibier brewed with Hallertau hops arrives in mid-September.

This traditional Marzen boasts all the flavors one wants in a rich Oktoberfest lager without all the heavy finish. The use of Munich malt provides upfront biscuity and honey flavors that fade into a dry finish.

Hi-Wire Zirkusfest will be available in 12 ounce bottles and draft.

Our fall seasonal is an ode to the brewing traditions of Germany. This amber lager is brewed in true Reinheitsgebot fashion using the finest imported German Malt, German Hops and German Yeast. Incredibly clean and balanced, this lager has a wonderful malty backbone and a hint of earthy hops. Traditionally released in early fall, this beer will make you want to stand up and sing “Ein Prosit!”

Hangar 24 Oktoberfest is a 12 ounce bottle and draft offering, seasonally.

Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest, a German-American Collaboration

This fall, shelves across the United States will see Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest in bottles. If you know anything about Sierra Nevada, then you probably know there is much more to the story than just a well made festbier.

Starting in August and changing each release, Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest will be a collaboration with a German brewery. First up is Brauhaus Riegele from Augsburg, Germany. Active since 1386, the brewery is run by Master Brewer Dr. Sebastian Priller-Riegele and his son Sebastian Priller-Riegele (very much like the Grossmans of Sierra Nevada).

“We’re honored that Brauhaus Riegele, a real cornerstone of German craft brewing, is kicking off this Oktoberfest collaboration with us,” said Ken Grossman, Sierra Nevada’s founder. “We’re both family owned, our children are hands on, and we share a passion for great beer. We’re aligned in so many ways, and we’re excited about the outstanding beer that’s emerged.”

Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest, a collaboration with Brauhaus Riegele, will be available in 12 ounce bottles in August, 2015.

Odell Oktoberfest, A Future Bottle Potential

Odell Oktoberfest takes aim at bottles in the near future. The malt forward beer has been a draft only offering in the past.

There’s plenty to celebrate when fall arrives in Colorado. The warm days grow-shorter, the cool shadows grow longer, and the aspens put on their golden grand finale. Brewed with biscuity sweet Munich malts and spicy, herbal noble hops, our Oktoberfest is a reminder to stop and enjoy the show.

Odell Oktoberfest will a 12oz bottle offering. The brewery has not yet announced this offering.

Red Hare Hasenpfeffer Oktoberfest Headed To Cans

Red Hare  Hasenpfeffer Oktoberfest joined the brewery’s fall seasonal fall seasonal lineup in August of 2014. Then it was draft only, but in 2015, the brewery will be bringing the malt forward beer back in cans.

Hasenpfeffer is brewed with all traditional German hops and malts.

Hasenpfeffer Oktoberfest is a rich copper in color with a nutty flavor and toasty, caramelized malt notes. At 5.5% ABV this Oktoberfest is the perfect way to transition from light summer beers to hearty winter ales

Red Hare Hasenpfeffer Oktoberfest will be available in 12oz cans in late summer, 2015.
