Red Brick Readies “Sacred Cow” Chai Milk Stout

Red Brick Brewing (Atlanta, GA) has finalized the recipe for a new and interesting brew, Sacred Cow Chai Spiced Milk Stout.

The milk stout is brewed with organic Masala Chai blend from Rishi Tea. (Rishi is the brand.) The tea gives the beer flavors of  black tea, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger root, black pepper and cloves. Those flavors, plus the chocolate-y notes from the milk stout will take your tastebuds on a flavor trip.

Sacred Cow is scheduled for November, 2013

Martin House Brewing Company has created a beer mimicking a bowl of breakfast cereal. Sadly, it’s not Coco Peebles or Count Chocula. Daybreak has a whole slew of grains, including barley, wheat, oats, and rye. On top of that, lactose (milk sugar) and honey were also added. The hops purportedly give the beer a little black currant and mint flavor.  The abv is not too high either. Just 5%

Available on draft and in cans. Perfect at sunrise.. Or whenever you want a some cereal..errr beer.
