Next up in Goose Island’s Fulton & Wood Series – Golden Goddess. This release is a collaboration with Tea Master Doug Palas and company at Intelligentsia (makers of the coffee in Bourbon County Coffee Stout). Golden Goddess is a German-style Kölsch infused black oolong tea (Iron Goddess of Mercy). Brewers Andy Ellis, Joel Becker, and Brian Turner are the creators of this draft-only Chicago offering.

Widmer Brothers Brewing gives a nod to Portland’s Timber’s Army, the proud and well-respected cheering section for Portland’s own MLS team the Timbers, with their upcoming brew Green and Gold Forever. This new brew features the team’s colors, green and gold, in both the name and label artwork. Even further, the beer’s recipe was selected from a home brew competition held each year by said army perpetuating this brew as what will surely become the unofficial beer of Portland’s Timber Army.
