Mother’s Brewing Has Fancy Pants

Mother’s Brewing Company (Springfield, MO) is releasing Fancy Pants a new Belgian-style IPA.  Abbey yeasts and one Trappist yeast team up to great a flavorful profile, plus fresh Australian Galaxy hops.

“Fancy Pants is a special beer. The yeast character mingles well with the hops creating an almost vinous, hoppy and fruity character,” says Jeremy Wicks, Director of Sales and Marketing. “There is just enough malt to provide balance but not so much to overshadow the hops.”

Style: Belgian-Style IPA
Availability: 12oz Bottles, Draft
Area:  MO., Northwest AR and Kansas City, KS.

Noda Unveils New Can Art

NoDa Brewing (Charlotte, NC) has unveiled the artwork that will grace their new cans. Two 16oz cans will be offered initially, Hop Drop ‘n Roll and Jam Session Ale.

Jam Session is an American pale ale that clocks in at 5.1% ABV. Features Simcoe, Centennial,  and Amarillo hops. The Hop Drop is a west-coast style IPA at 7.1% ABV.

Cans will be hitting stores in the Charlotte metro area in late September. You’ll also get to drink these at Panthers Stadium during events and football games.

Another Mikkeller Can Offering

Mikkeller (Denmark, and the world) will start canning under their own label stateside in the near future. The canning will occur at Sly Fox Brewing in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.

To date, there was been one other can by Mikkeller released- a collaboration with Half Acre Beer Company. With the addition of the above offering, that brings the future can offerings to two. The first a pilsner, this an IPA.

Distribution by Shelton Brothers. More details to follow.
