Each release will tweak hops, malts, and even yeast to create an endless array of new IPAs. Moving Parts Batch 01 will focus on American, English and Czech hop varieties, along with German malts.
Just as a single bold stroke or change of rhythm can take art in an exciting new direction, subtle recipe shifts in a craft beer can produce profound flavor changes. Some may feel such complexities are problematic to approach. We disagree. We have a penchant for prolific experimentation and Moving Parts embodies that creative spirit with gusto, resulting in a new end result every four months, said Victorys President and Brewmaster, Bill Covaleski.
Expect a new Victory Moving Parts IPA around every four months in 22oz bombers and draft.

The collaboration got started with Green Flash Brewing (San Diego, CA) wanting to brew a beer called Road Warrior, to honor their employees that always travel. One hiccup, Terrapin Beer Company in Athens, GA already had dibs on the name.
Green Flash made more than one financial offer for “Road Warrior.” Terrapin decided to allow Green Flash to use the name, under one condition. You’ll find out in the above Beer Street Journal video.
Green Flash’s brewmaster Chuck Silva joins Terrapin brewmaster and co-founder “Spike” Buckowski to create a different spin on an ipa. Tangerine Dreamsicle is brewed with Azacca hops (pretty new breed), and tangerine peel, along with lactose (milk sugar) to turn this beer into an orange creamsicle.
Available in Terrapin’s 12 distribution states in 22oz bombers and draft for a limited time.

[Operation Homefront] is aged on Louisville Slugger maple bats and infused with orange zest. Biscuit, honey, and grapefruit pith notes will play on your tongue, followed by a memorable dry, bitter finish.
In 2013, Left Hand raised $18,148 towards the cause. Donors to the beer brewing include Hops Direct, Cargill, Ol and Tricor Braun, DWS, and Moxie Sozo (Label design) help make this possible.
