Stone Enjoy By Unfiltered IPA returns again on August 1st

Stone Enjoy By Unfiltered IPA joined the “Enjoy By” drink fresh lineup for the first time this year. The next release is coming in August.

Stone Enjoy By Unfiltered IPA is based on the original Enjoy By IPA, with a brewing step omitted. The brewery doesn’t filter out the extra yeast, hop sediment, and proteins that occur during the process.

Like its filtered counterpart, this IPA is brewed specifically NOT to last, and is shipped immediately to ensure hopheads get their hands on it as soon as possible.

The malt bill features oats, rice syrup soilds; fermented with a blend of American ale yeast and German kolsch yeast.

Spotlight: Ommegang Great Beyond Double IPA

Ommegang Great Beyond Double IPA joins the Cooperstown, New York based brewery’s lineup in June.

The road to hoppy started recently with Ommegang Nirvana that debuted nearly a year ago. That IPA didn’t go very far from the brewery – just New Jersey, Connecticut, and their home state. Now, the beer is the #3 best selling India pale ale in New York.

Taking hoppy a step further, (and further out the the Belgian-style the brewery is known for) is Ommegang Great Beyond. This juicy hop flavored imperial IPA ranks among the many American IPAs that made the style so great. Strong hop nose, strong hop character, bitter finish. Bold.

“Double IPA is a style we were excited to brew – it’s a further exploration beyond the Belgian-styles we are known for historically,” – Phil Leinhart, Brewmaster for Brewery Ommegang.

Ommegang Great Beyond Double IPA just started hitting shelves for a limited time in late June in 12 ounce bottles and draft. Drink now, drink fresh.

Style: Imperial IPA
Availability: 12oz Bottles, Draft. June release
Debut: June, 2016

8.8% ABV

Sixpoint Puff, a hoppier Resin

If you love the brewery’s hoppy beer Resin, then you will really love Sixpoint Puff. The beers are closely related.

The relationship between Sixpoint Puff and Resin is personal one… they start as the same beer. Imagine pulling Resin from the tank at the brewery in New York. Now think of that same beer, but with an extra round of dry-hopping. You now have Puff.

If you love Resin, imagine tasting it straight from the tanks. That’s what PUFF is – an un unfiltered pour from the tanks, with an extra dose of dry hops before it hits the can and keg. How sweet to be a cloud -floating in a tank of Resin! It’s Mad Science.

Sixpoint Puff is meant to be consumed within 100 days of the date code on the can. (Rule of thumb for every IPA for that matter.) Available in 12 ounce cans for a limited time.

Style: Imperial IPA
Availability: 12oz Cans.

Debut: June, 2016
