Bet you didn’t know that Oskar Blues Brewing (Colorado/North Carolina) sponsors stock car racing. It’s true. The car owners Kevin & Melissa Steinke are based in Colorado, but travel to 4 states to race. The super late model car is built on a Dodge body with a 600 HP Dodge engine.
The Oskar Blues Stock Car races in the Pass Series and Southern Super Series. I know you want to know about speed. The stock car averages around 150 mph, but could hit 190 mph in a straight line. The car is typically a top five finisher, and and recently won the Champion Cup at Colorado National Speedway.

Tonight Cypress Street‘s Beer Geek Tuesday features Girl Scout cookies paired with Rogue beers. A percentage of the proceeds will go towards the Local Girl Scout Troop #23459.
