NoDa Brewing Announces Canned Offerings

NoDa Brewing (Charlotte, NC) has announced that they will add 16oz cans to their lineup this month. The brewery has selectively bottled various 22oz offerings in their short history.  Founders Todd and Susie Ford have carefully considered a format to release their beer in package. Cans have won that race.

Look for Jam Session (Pale Ale) and Hop, Drop, & Roll (IPA) to kick off the canning operations. Charlotte metro will be the first market to get the tallboys, plus expect both offerings at the Bank of America Stadium for Panthers games.

Noda currently distributes to parts of North Carolina and South Carolina.

Founders Centennial IPA Released in Cans

Founders Brewing will be following up their All Day IPA can release with another hoppy offering – Centennial IPA. The year round offering features one hop, and a lot of flavor. The only thing you’re probably wish now is that summer would start over again.

Get ready to bask in the glory of the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the citrus accents from the abundance of dry hopping. This one’s sweet, yet balanced. Malty undertones shake hands with the hop character for a finish that never turns too bitter.

21st Amendment & Elysian’s Second Can Collab

21A HeSaid-Lager_Can

21st Amendment and Elysian Brewing have two different collaborations coming out in cans soon. Both collaborations are called He Said and have similar artwork, but the insides are stylistically different. One is a Belgian style tripel with pumpkin and spices. The second is actually a Baltic porter, lager brewed (that’s a departure from how it is actually brewed) with pumpkin and spices.  Two different imaginative, pumpkin-y takes on some old school styles.

SanTan’s New Can: SuperMonk

SanTan Brewing Company (Chandler, AZ) is releasing a new fall seasonal in cans – SuperMonk Belgian IPA. American hops meet Belgian yeast in this blend of styles that is coming quite popular.

SuperMonk Belgian IPA is a slightly hazy Belgian IPA. The aroma lends notes of citrus and upon first sip; hoppy bitterness dances with slight peppery notes, then gives way to orange and fruit. Very drinkable and light on the palate. Ideal for craft beer lovers and “hopheads” alike!

Style: Belgian IPA
Hops: Cascade, Columbus
Malts: Pale Malt, Malted Wheat, Munich Malt, Vienna Malt

The new canning line at Troegs will have the ability to fill both 16 and 12oz cans. As you can see here, Troegs has chosen 12oz cans for Pepetual.

Troegs Brewing (Hershey, PA) is planning to kick up a canning line in the near future. As cans are a trend that is on fire right now, we the drinkers want to know what are the first cans to roll off the line. Here is a clue – Trogenator Doppelbock. This double bock is a year round offering from Troegs, and easily a fan favorite.
