Uinta Releasing “Community Building” 801 Pilsner

Uinta Brewing (Salt Lake City, UT) will release a new can that is not only perfect for drinking in the heat, but a great testament to their hometown. 801 Pilsner celebrates all of Utah, but specifically the 801 area code.

Uinta 801 Pilsner is called a “community builder” by the brewery, as they will be donating proceeds from the beer to various non-profit organizations. Partnered organizations will appear on the beer label. Up first, is the Utah Avalanche Center (UAC), helping back country riders stay on top of the snow conditions in the state.

“We’re excited to take our support one step further and to spawn greater awareness for   UAC and the importance of avalanche education and safety here  in Utah. Community      involvement is a large component of Uinta’s DNA and we are eager to spread       neighborhood engagement and camaraderie through the 801 brand.”

Unita 801 Pilsner will be released in Utah only in 12oz cans.

Nestled in the Outer Banks of North Carolina is a small farm brewery, Weeping Radish. This summer, they unveil a big new addition to their lineup – 16oz cans. If you ever had a question about the popularity of cans, this should ease your mind. Even some of the smallest breweries are getting in on it.

The initial Weeping Radish can lineup includes Black Radish, OBX Beer, Ruddy Radish, and Corolla Gold.

The brewery is filling their first round this week. Distribution should be limited this summer to the OBX area, and then the rest of the state in the fall.
