Brew Hub’s First Offering: Key Billy Island Ale

Brew Hub Key Billy Island Ale is the first offering from the newly founded partner brewing collaborative. Brew Hub, from their own description, breaks down like this –

Partner brewing is a process that allows craft brewers to not only brew their beer to the exact specifications under the supervision of their own Brewmaster, but also to package and distribute from the Brew Hub brewery and make their beer available for export to national and international markets.

Brew Hub Key Billy Island Ale is a light amber ale, brewed with key lime juice. created by home brewer Pat Kennedy from Islamorada, Florida. The recipe is brewed at the Lakeland, Florida Brew Hub, for distribution in south Florida.

Tallgrass 16 Bit DPA, A 1 Pint Finishing Move

Ok gamer geeks. Tallgrass Brewing is at it again. The brewery already has an 8-Bit Pale Ale, complete with 8-bit style artwork.

Just as you were excited for you new, top of the line Super Nintendo or Sega Genesis (both 16-Bit graphics. Glorious.) You’re going to be feel the same way again with Tallgrass 16-Bit DPA.

The “double” pale ale features Mortal Kombat-esque artwork, and “a 1 pint finishing move” at 6.2% ABV.

A formal announcement is to come by Tallgrass.

The brewery transitioned to all all aluminum packaging last year, so expect this new offering in 12oz cans.

Lonerider The Hops You Rode in On is 4.4% ABV.

Saint Arnold Cans Launch in February

Saint Arnold Brewing Company (Houston, TX) will begin canning in February.

The brewery is currently installing a new canning line from DFT Packaging USA. The line, expected to be live by mid-February, can do up to 160 cans a minute.

First cans from Saint Arnold will include Fancy Lawnmower Beer (kolsch, 4.9%), and Santo (Black Kolsch, 4.7%).

12oz cans should hit the market late-February to early-March, 2015.

Summer Pils will join the can lineup in April.

Strawberry Harvest Lager is a wheat beer made with real Louisiana strawberries, picked late in the season when they’re at their swee This brew has earned quite a reputation in a short time, causing the brewery to up their production year after year. When this brew is found, emails and phone calls fly to friends informing them of the store’s location. Strawberry Harvest is a crisp, light lager with just a hint of strawberry sweetness. It is wonderful with desserts or lighter fares such as salads and pastas. Fresh cheeses such as Burrata, chevre, Creszenza, mozzarella or Teleme pair well with Strawberry Harvest.

Abita Strawberry Harvest is available in 12oz bottles, draft, and now 12oz cans.

Luscious. Juicy. Tart. And like no other! Adding a tropical island flair to a spicy traditional witbier, Lililoi Kepolo erupts with monumental passionfruit aroma and acidity along with a sublimely succulent finish. Sediment may occur over time. Fear not! It’s passionfruit.
