Red Hare  Hasenpfeffer Oktoberfest joined the brewery’s fall seasonal fall seasonal lineup in August of 2014. Then it was draft only, but in 2015, the brewery will be bringing the malt forward beer back in cans.

Third Rail Field 2 is the Brewery’s First Can

Third Rail Field 2 is the brewery’s first canned release. This beer will join Third Rail Alternate Side American Stout, released earlier this year in 22oz bottles.

Third Rail Field 2 features Bavarian and Solvenian hops, and a spicy, herbal finish that is perfect for summer.

“Just in time for summer, Field 2’s refreshing notes of wild herbs, spices, pear, and straw delivered in a tall can are the perfect combination to beat the heat,” said Third Rail Brewmaster Loren Taylor-Raymond.

Third Rail Field 2 is named for the brewery’s founder’s favorite Central Park softball field. Available for a limited time in 16oz cans.

Upslope Manhattan Style Rye Ale (Aged in Whiskey) Hits Cans in June

Upslope Manhattan Style Rye Ale is joining the brewery’s Lee Hill Series. This fourth edition in the series is a rye beer, aged in Leopold Brothers Maryland-style Rye Whiskey barrels. The goal is to have Upslope Manhattan Style Rye Ale mimic flavors of a manhattan cocktail.

“I love a good Manhattan with rye whiskey and have always wanted to brew a beer that could replicate the great flavors of this classic cocktail,” said Head Brewer Sam Scruby. “When presented with first use Leopold Bros. Maryland Rye Whiskey barrels, the decision was easy. I threw out the recipe book and went outside the box for this cocktail-inspired Manhattan Style Rye Ale.

Upslope Manhattan Style Rye Ale will release on June 4th in 19.2oz cans at the brewery in Boulder, Colorado. $10 dollars per can.

Recent additions to Upslope’s Lee Hill Series includes: Barrel Aged Brown, Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, and Wild Saison.

Hasenpfeffer Oktoberfest is a rich copper in color with a nutty flavor and toasty, caramelized malt notes. At 5.5% ABV this Oktoberfest is the perfect way to transition from light summer beers to hearty winter ales

Red Hare Hasenpfeffer Oktoberfest will be available in 12oz cans in late summer, 2015.

Terrapin Krunkles Down Under Coming to New Variety Pack

Terrapin Krunkles Down Under is headed to cans later this year. “Captain Krunkles,” the brewery’s fictitious (or maybe not so fictitious) hop loving traveler swings to the South Pacific for his latest offering.

Terrapin Krunkles Down Under features hop varieties from New Zealand and Australia.

Krunkles returns with a new IPA from his time spent on the underside of the world. Brewed with hops exclusively from New Zealand and Australia, this “South Pacific IPA” is packed with so much flavor, it might even make a kiwi say G’Day!

Terrapin Krunkles Down Under will be available in a new IPA Survival Pack this summer. The 12-can variety pack will contain Hopsecutioner, RecreationAle, Hi-5 IPA, and Krunkles Down Under.

Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin now in bottles and cans nationally

Ballast Point Brewing brews Sculpin, a widely popular IPA. Building on the the popularity and people’s lust for hops, the brewery created two new offerings, Habanero Sculpin, and Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin.

Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin cans have officially come off the line in California, and have hit the brewery’s tap room, and are making their way to markets across the United States.

Our Grapefruit Sculpin is the latest take on our signature IPA. Some may say there are few ways to improve Sculpin’s unique flavor, but the tart freshness of grapefruit perfectly complements our IPA’s citrusy hop character. Grapefruit’s a winter fruit, but this easy-drinking ale tastes like summer.
