Hazy and unfiltered, Rucksack’s wheat malt delivers a bready character that screams citrus fruit when combined with Mandarina Bavaria hops. Steeping this beer with orange peel post-fermentation only accentuates this fruitiness.

Monday Night Ruck Sack is available in 12-ounce cans and draft as an early summer seasonal.

Brewed with fresh oranges, Iron Hill Hopicana is here for summer

Iron Hill Hopicana brings the “juice” ahead of summer.

The multi-state based brewpub created Iron Hill Hopicana (a west-coast India Pale Ale) to taste like fresh picked orange juice in beer form. So much so, they used fresh oranges.

Hopicana is a hop-forward IPA brewed with real oranges for refreshing, juicy flavor. It’s a West Coast-style IPA that drinks like a cold glass of fresh-squeezed OJ.

The label is inspired by commercial food labels from the 30’s and 40’s.

Iron Hill Hopicana will be available on May 10th in 16-ounce cans and draft.

Style: IPA (w/ Oranges)
Availability: 16oz Cans, Draft. Summer Seasonal.

Founders Green Zebra Watermelon Gose makes a spring return

Founders Green Zebra returns to cans in April.

For more than five years, Founders has brewed a beer for the ArtPrize competition hosted in the brewery’s hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Previous releases in the lineup include Pale Joe, Spectra Trifecta, and Mosaic Promise.

Founders Green Zebra, is a goes-style ale brewed with watermelon and sea salt. A new packaged style for Founders, as well as being the first ArtPrize release that has been canned.

“We love playing with expectations when it comes to brewing our ArtPrize beers and Green Zebra is the perfect example of that. The gose style is very unique and pretty unknown, even amongst craft beer drinkers, and we wanted to bring our version of it to a larger audience. For the first time ever, our ArtPrize beer will be available across our entire distribution network so even more of our fans can get to know this style we’ve fallen in love with.” – Dave Engbers, Co-Founder and President

Jacob Wiseheart, an employee of Founders taproom created the label artwork.

Founders Green Zebra will be available again in 12-ounce cans and draft again starting April 13th.

Mango, guava and passionfruit highlight April’s SweetWater Tropical Lover

SweetWater Tropical Lover rolls off the can in Atlanta as a new seasonal in April.

Nick Burgoyne, brewer at SweetWater has been developing this recipe for some time now. He created a low alcohol by volume Berliner Weisse; adding mango, guava, and passionfruit to the beer. The result was something quite tropical and very refreshing.
