Time For Another Happy Ending
As 2012 is slowly coming to an end, we all deserve a happy ending to a long year. As part of the brewery’s Catch and Release seasonal lineup of brews, SweetWater Brewing is proud to announce that Happy Ending returns just in time for the end of the year, or world, depending who you believe.
“The Imperial Stout is brewed with Centennial and Willamette hops, and finished off with a dry-hop addition of Cascade and Simcoe hops. Measuring out to a whopping 9% ABV, the award-winning beer is a true dry-hopped stiffy with an explosive finish.”
Happy Ending will hit shelves in 6 packs and 22-ounce hand-waxed bombers, and on draft in select locations by the end of the year.

SweetWater Bottles “The Gimp” [PICS]
SweetWater Brewing Company (Atlanta, GA) has spent the later part of this week bottling their latest Dank Tank creation – The Gimp. Gimp is an old ale that pushes the 11% ABV mark. This boozy offering is anything but submissive though. Expect flavors of toffee, and caramel, with a slightly hot finish. The use of Nelson Sauvin hops lends The Gimp a little fruity note in the middle of each sip. This beer is meant for the cellar. When you’re feeling like it. – Bring Out The Gimp!
This Old Ale promises to tease the senses, giving off sweet scents of caramel and toffee mixed with warming sensations of alcohol and malt, all well-balanced with a low-voltage dose of hops. It’s advised that this brew be stashed in cellars for a few months before consumption, but once broken out, its submissive deliciousness will be sure to please. Warning: this brew gags up 10.3% ABV so it’s suggested to ease in to The Gimp with caution.
Below are few pics from bottling day, and a tasting session with Nick Nock, SweetWater’s head brewmaster.

Terrapin Side Project #19: Mosaic Single Hopped Rye Ale
On shelves now is Terrapin Side Project #18: Liquid Bliss. Meet the follow up release coming in 2013 – Mosaic Single Hopped Rye Ale. Brewer “Spike” has an affinity towards rye malt, so this comes a no surprise.
Freshly harvested from Hop Breeding Company, LLC in Yakima Valley, the hops used in Side Project 19 “Mosaic” came freshly picked from the fields of Perrault Farms, to our brewery, and into your glass. Known as hop HBC 369 before official naming in 2011, Mosaic is the daughter of Simcoe (YCR 14) and a Nugget-derived male. To get the best of all worlds from this new Humulus lupus, we used 100% Mosaic throughout the brewing process to utilize all the flavor and aroma that this world-class hop has to offer.
Style: Rye Beer
Hops: Mosaic
Availability: 22oz bombers, Draft
Arrival: March, 2013
6.6% ABV
