Atlanta, you’ll see Blue Point Brewing (Long Island, NY) in Georgia in April. The beer will start shipping in late March. Blue Point was founded in 1998 by Mark Burford and Pete Cotter. The brewery produces about 42,000 barrels a year. Distribution in Georgia will be through Savannah Distribution.
For the Georgia launch, Blue Point will ship (but not limited to):
Hoptical Illusion: IPA, 6.8%, 60 IBUs
Toasted Lager: 5.5%, 28 IBUs
Rastafarye Ale: Rye Beer, 7.5%, 40 IBUs

Festivities will take place Saturday, Feb. 18 from 2 — 6 p.m. at the brewery and will feature music from the band Like a Locomotive, tours of the facility and samplings of SweetWater’s brews. The 15th anniversary bash will be the first time the public can catch a glimpse of the brewery’s new expansion space, boasting an 88,000-square-foot addition to the original facility. An unveiling of the completed expansion will follow later this year.

Atlanta can finally expect the arrive of Nitro bottles by the first of March. Milk Stout is Left Hand’s #1 selling beer.
