SweetWater Georgia Kisses debuts, built on southern fruit

SweetWater Brewing Company has a new seasonal in the lineup, and it’s about as Atlanta as it gets.

SweetWater Georgia Kisses is a tangerine wheat ale brewed with locally grown Georgia Kiss mandarin oranges, a regional citrus variety (Statesboro, Georgia) that brings bright, tangy character to a light, crisp wheat base. It’s sessionable by design, clocking in around 4.6–5% ABV, with the emphasis squarely on fruit-forward refreshment rather than bitterness.

The beer made its public debut in SweetWater’s taproom, where it poured alongside other new releases including Barrel-Aged 420 and another Georgia influenced, Poppin’ Peach.

Georgia Kisses hits shelves in 12oz/6 pack cans and draft as a spring seasonal.
