Bruvado Imports is rolling out “the” Mexican beverage experience. It’s called the chaser pack. The box set gets 5 beers, and 5 shots of 100% agave tequila. There are even shot glasses in the pack. But wait, there’s more. There is also a Bruvado Bourbon Chaser Pack too. 5 Mexican lagers, with 4 year oak barrel Kentucky bourbon. The Bruvado beer recipe was apparently invented in 1923 in Baja, California. The box sets are a fast track to drunk town. Get this – $15.

The hotel actually uses a fresh water well it’s sole water source, located 792 feet below it. Wynkoop is using this water in the new “Colorado Common” beer.
Dogfish Head Brewery has just brewed a second iteration of Delaware Native Ale aka DNA. The beer uses all ingredients native to the First State, including a yeast that was isolated from a local peach orchard.
Last year’s batch wasn’t able to claim 100% Delaware origin. The barley used was from out of state. This year, Sam and crew were able to locally source the barley for DNA 2012. The beer is a mead with 720 lbs of wildflower honey, and over 300 lbs of Delaware blueberries. As an added bonus, the mead will be used as a wash to create a Delaware Native Distilled Spirit. Perhaps the first spirit created completely in Delaware?
