Victory Helles Lager Now in Full Distribution

Victory Brewing Company (Downingtown, PA) will now ship their Helles Lager to all 35 states to which they distribute. Until now, the beer has stayed pretty close to home.

Originally known as Brandywine Valley Lager when it made its debut in 1996, this lager paid homage to Victory’s pristine water source, one of the four crucial ingredients in beer.  The brand transformed into Victory Lager and is now rebranded as Victory Helles Lager marrying the preservation of the traditional German style and the critical water source.

Victory Helles Lager is available in 12oz bottles.

Victory Anniversary 19 Session IPA Released

Victory Brewing Company (Downingtown, PA) was founded in 1996 by Bill Covaleski and Ron Barchet. The due met on the school bus in fifth grade.

2015 marks 19 years of craft brewing for Victory, and a potential new beer to celebrate nearly two decades of success- Victory Anniversary 19 Session IPA.

Victory Collaborates on Bourbon Barrel “Earth & Flame”

Victory Brewing Company (Downingtown, PA) teams up with Earth-Bread + Brewery (Philadelphia, PA) on a very special bourbon barrel scotch ale.

Victory’s Ron Barchet and Bill Covaleski have worked together in the past, reviving Earth’s Baltic Porter with founder Tom Baker. Now, the two breweries unveil a bourbon barrel scotch ale to drink as the weather turns colder.

With a shared love for dark robust ales, the team drew inspiration from the coming holiday season in conceiving this unique brew. The sweet flavors of winter desserts seem to emerge from the complex intensity of the bourbon-tinged ebony ale, creating a smooth, unique and flavorful experience.

Victory Earth & Flame will be available in 750 mL bottles and draft, starting November 26th.

Victory Brewing Heads to Nevada

Victory Brewing Company (Downingtown, PA) will launch in Nevada later this month.  The brewery is rolling out Golden Monkey, Dirtwolf, Prima Pils, and more starting September 20th.

The brewery signed a distribution deal with Southern Wine and Spirits of Nevada. Specialty and seasonal offerings will arrive after the initial rollout.

“Nevada has a huge craft beer culture that celebrates everything about brewing, drinking and appreciating all there is in the business.  We’ve had many requests to bring our beer to the area and are extremely excited we can finally oblige by offering our full-flavored beer to these fans and introducing Victory to a new audience of craft beer lovers,” said Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Steve German.

First pours of Victory Brewing in Nevada will be at the Downtown Brew Festival in Las Vegas, where the brewery is a presenting sponsor.

Nevada is Victory’s 35 state of distribution.

Victory Moonglow Returns for 2014

Victory Brewing Company (Downingtown, PA) has released Moonglow Weizenbock in time for fall. Moonglow takes a bock beer full of German hops and ferments it with a weiss beer yeast. The resulting beverage is malt driven, with strong flavors of apple, caramel and toffee.

“This beer is a vivid example of what our company is all about – the exploration of German brewing traditions combined with our individual creative ingenuity,” said President and Brewmaster, Bill Covaleski. “Whether clearing new paths or rediscovering old roads via glow of the autumnal moon, this is a product that celebrates the spirit of that journey.”

Stone Groundbreaking Collab: Imperial Royal Imperial Saison du BUFF

Stone Brewing Co. (Escondido, CA) made craft beer headlines today, with the announcement of a new brewery build in Berlin, Germany. The build will cost $25 million dollars.The brewery has started an IndieGoGo fundraising campaign, where for $50 dollars you can purchase a 1.5 liter bottle from a special, very limited, Stone Groundbreaking Collaboration Series.

Drop $50 on the build, you can choose Stone Imperial Royal Imperial Saison du BUFF, an “uber” version of the saison brewed with Victory Brewing (Downingtown, PA) and Dogfish Head (Milton, DE)

If you choose to purchase a bottle, it must be picked up at either Stone in Escondido, California, or Berlin, Germany. Release date to be announced.
