Urban Chestnut’s Fall 8 Pack Arrives

Urban Chestnut is shipping a fall variety pack, that includes a new bottles – Oachkatzlscwhoaf Oktoberfest Lager and Count Orlock Black Pumpkin Ale.  

Oktoberfest is an “export” lager, that has never been bottled until now.  Count Orlock (aka the German Count Dracula) is a black pumpkin wheat ale.

In addition to the above are two bottles of Winged Nut, and Zwickel.

The 8 packs are now available in Urban Chestnut distribution territories.

Construction Begins On Urban Chestnut’s New Brewery

Urban Chestnut Brewery (Saint Louis, MO) has already outgrown their current facility on Washington Avenue. The maxed out facility can produce 7,000 barrels (217,000) gallons.

Urban Chestnut has started renovating a new space on Manchester Avenue that will intially produce 15,000 barrels (465,000 gals) and could, with more equipment, reach 100,000 barrels. Both facilities will be used to meet demand.

The brewery hopes to be open and functional in spring of 2014.
