New Realm Hoplandia IPA will soon hit distro

New Realm Hoplandia IPA won’t be a draft-only offering much longer. The brewery is canning the flagship offering this month.

Atlanta, Georgia based New Realm Brewing opened their doors on the city’s beltline in January. In a few short weeks, Hoplandia IPA is assuming the role of “flagship status” already.

TAKE A LOOK INSIDE NEW REALM BREWING

Mitch Steele hails from the hoppy American West Coast, making that influence undeniable in every sip. Warrior, Simcoe, and Centennial hops blossom with every sip. Think citrus, peaches, and orange zest. No, don’t ask if it’s hazy. Ironically, Steele denies any “coast” claiming with Hoplandia:

Hoplandia is no ordinary IPA. It’s not confined to the style of the West Coast, East Coast or whatever coast. This lush IPA is something sublimely different and now in cans, more Atlantans will be able to experience Hoplandia for themselves.

All coasts aside, New Realm Hoplandia IPA, as well as Euphonia PIlsner, will soon be available in 12-ounce cans at the brewery, as well as Georgia distribution as we head into April.

Style: IPA
Hops: Centennial, Warrior, Simone
Malts: Pale, Pilsner, Crystal

Availability: 12oz Cans, Draft. Year-Round
Debut (Cans): March 2018

7.3% ABV, 75 IBUs

There’s a new pilsner in cans in the southeast: New Realm Euphonia

New Realm Euphonia Pilsner is being canned for the first time this month.

In the two short months that Atlanta’s New Realm Brewing has been opened, two beers have become headliners – Hoplandia IPA and Euphonia Pilsner. While one has brewmaster Mitch Steele’s hoppy west coast fingerprints all over it, the pilsner leans a bit more traditional.

RELATED: Inside New Realm in Atlanta

Steele uses Hersbrucker, Huell Melon, Saphir and Sterling hops on a German malt “blackboard”. The finished beer is the beautifully smooth, dangerously drinkable, delightfully crisp pilsners that is hard to put down. (Ed. note: we haven’t left the brewery drinking less than at least four each time.)

“… Euphonia Pilsner, our refreshing, easy sipping pils has been a favorite amongst our brewers and guests at our bar.” Mitch Steele, Co-Founder & Brewmaster

Today the brewery is hard at work canning Euphonia PIlsner for the first time. 12-ounce cans of the crisp pilsner will be available at the brewery first, with distribution to follow in April 2018.

Malts: German Pilsner

New Year-Round Release: Saint Arnold Orange Show

Saint Arnold Orange Show has been added to the Houston, Texas-based brewery’s year-round lineup this month.

The base beer is a blonde ale, brewed with fresh blood oranges. 2,200 pounds of puree to be exact. That’s around a half a pound of puree per gallon.

A strong citrus aroma comes from the purée added during fermentation and the Centennial and Citra hops. The combination of sweet and slightly tart flavors make it a balanced, light bodied beer.

Saint Arnold Orange Show is named for a folk art monument in Houston’s East End Neighborhood. The 3,000 square foot structure was designed by the late Jefferson Davis McKissack, a Houston postal worker.

Orange Show is available in 12-ounce cans and draft in Texas and Louisana, year-round starting in March 2018.

Style: Blonde Ale (w/ Blood Oranges.)
Hops: Centennial, Citra
Availability: 12oz Cans, Draft. Year-Round
Distribution: TX, LA

Debut: March 2018
