New Belgium Brewing (Fort Collins, CO) will start distributing to the state of Florida on July 29th, 2013. Fat Tire, Ranger, and 1554 will arrive first in 22oz bottles. 60 days later (September) look for 12oz bottles and draft, along with members of the Lips of Faith collection.
“Florida will be our 32nd state of distribution and it’s probably the one we’ve heard from most often about, ‘when are you all going get here?’” said New Belgium Florida Sales Director, Jeff Sipes. “A lot of us have friends and family in state so it’s a bit of a homecoming that way. We’re excited.”
NewBelgium will use Gold Coast Distributing, JJ Taylor, Florida Distributing, Cone Distributing, Goldring Gulf, and Champion Brands, and Daytona Beverage. This is the third state New Belgium has opened this year, after Alaska and Louisiana.

Skateboard legend-turned-documentary-film-director, Stacy Peralta (“Dogtown and Z Boys”, “Riding Giants”, “Bones Brigade”), directed the New Belgium staff in the :30-second broadcast spots. “We believe there is huge opportunity to introduce beer drinkers to the friendly shores of the craft brewing community and to New Belgium and Fat Tire as well,” said New Belgium Brewing Branding Director, Josh Holmstrom. “There is such a wide variety of new and interesting media to engage with them including social, mobile and Digital Video.”
The spots were filmed over the course of 3 days in Ft. Collins, and features music of the March Fourth Marching Band. The campaign has a strong social element too, including a Facebook App that will allow uses to insert photos into New Belgium themed frames. Users will be entered in a drawing to win the infamous New Belgium cruiser bike. Look for promotions on Twitter and Instagram too.

Pluot is light golden, delivering fruity aromas and distinct esters. It is also created with house Belgian ale yeast and brettanomyces, bringing a hint of spice and a malty backbone.

Using dandelion greens to bitter a Belgian-style ale blossomed from out brewers collaborating with Red Rock Brewing. This being our sixth interpretation together since 2008. Expect a wonderfully complex ale fermented with wild Belgian yeast and blended with just a touch of w0od-aged beer. Bitterness imparted from dandelion greens and grains of paradise will have you blowing wishes for sips.
