Sierra Nevada’s Yonder Bock with Cigar City

Sierra Nevada’s Beer Camp is stepping up their Beer Camp Series. Coming this summer, Sierra Nevada will release an epic Beer Camp Across America Mix Pack featuring collaborations with breweries across America.

Sierra Nevada Yonder Bock is a can collaboration with Cigar City Brewing.

Brewed in collaboration with Cigar City Brewing in Tampa, FL, Yonder Bock is a Latin-inspired twist on a traditional Maibock. Cigar City finds inspiration in the Cuban roots of their hometown, which is a long way from our hometown, which is a long way from our home base in Chico, but our friends down yonder in Florida sure can brew a great beer. Yonder Bock blends a silky malt body with bright, fruity hop aromas of guava, mango and passion fruit from the use of Calypso, Azacca, and experimental 366 hops as a nod to Cigar City’s tropical locale.  

Yonder Bock is one of twelve offerings coming this July in Sierra Nevada’s Beer Camp Across America Mixed Pack.

Malts: Vienna, Munich, Pilsner, Honey

Cigar City Brewing (Tampa, FL) is making up five missed birthday commemorative releases with a “Five Beers” series. With the above label, all five release have been revealed.

The Cellar Team: New Zealand Double India Pale Ale 
The Brewing Team: American Barleywine
Packaging Team: Gose Ale

This final offering in the series will be a goes ale brewed by The Packaging Team. Gose ales are typically tart/sour wheat ales, hailing from Germany.

Cigar City Brewing (Tampa, FL) will soon be making up for five missed birthday commemorative releases with a “Five Beers” series.

Each of the brewery’s five internal departments are creating their own unique Cigar City 5 Beers for 5 Years creation each of the missed years. Expect an offering from the brewery’s packaging, cellar, brewers, tasting room, and brewery reps/marketing team.

The a new offering in the series is a “Florida Weisse Ale.” Florida, most assuredly is a reference to the tropical fruits of orange and tangerine that were used during fermentation. This release was dreamed up by The Tasting Room folks.

Grandmule’s base is an imperial porter, aged in bourbon barrels for extra drool points.

For Grandmothers, Nonnas, Grandmas, Abuelsas, Grannys, Memaws, Grammas, Nannas, and all the kiddy ladies everywhere that bravely go to all the breweries their grandkids get to. We brewed this beer in honor of your patiences and love.

Look for this pink bottle of love in 750ml bottles.
