SUMMARY:Monday Night Brewing to open Charlotte taproom
DESCRIPTION:Atlanta-based Monday Night Brewing has announced their fifth taproom location\, slated for Charlotte\, North Carolina in 2023.  \nThe new taproom\, located at 2217 S. Tryon Street\, is already under construction. Providence Group Capital (PGC) acquired the location – a former auto shop\, in February 2021. The 8\,500 square foot building on 1.13 acres is being overhauled into a food hall\, with Monday Night being one of the first tenant announcements.  \n“The South End is an incredibly exciting locale to debut our broad beer portfolio in the great state of North Carolina. Not only is Charlotte our fifth taproom\, but North Carolina is also the fourth state we’ll be expanding our distribution to. We are thrilled to join the beer scene and community in North Carolina\, which we have long admired. ” – Jeff Heck\, Monday Night CEO \nThe burgeoning South End of Charlotte is already home to Wooden Robot\, Hopfly Brewing\, Resident Culture\, Triple C\, Sycamore Brewing\, The Suffolk Punch\, and Trolley Barn Fermentory & Food Hall.  \nMonday Night opened their production facility in Atlanta’s Westside area in 2011. Since then\, the brewery has built a wild ale facility in Atlanta’s West End\, as well as the Monday Night Social Club in Birmingham\, AL\, and Monday Night Preservation Co. in Nashville\, TN.

DESCRIPTION:Allagash Rare Flights at Hop City Krog\nJoin Hop City and Allagash for a killer flight lineup\, with some very rare beers that rarely ever make on tap outside the brewery. The flights include two beers from the brewery’s famed coolship – Cerise and Resurgam.  \nFull flight details are below. John Peterson with Allagash will be on hand starting at 5:30 pm with knowledge\, giveaways\, and great conversation.  \nSee you at Hop City Krog Street Market on July 14th! \nAllagash Rare Flight:  \nBijoux – Fruit-forward wild golden ale aged on a blend of Turkish and Mission figs. Tart fruit flavors of peaches\, fig\, and a hint of pie crust. \nCoolship Cerise – A tart\, complex beer that is spontaneously fermented and then aged on cherries. Notes of spice\, cherry\, and oak punctuate the flavor. \nCoolship Resurgam – Coolship Resurgam is a blend of one-\, two-\, and three-year-old spontaneously fermented beer. The finished beer has aromas of apricot and lemon zest. Notes of tropical fruit and light funk lead to a clean\, tart\, and dry finish. \nEvora – Fermented with both a classic Belgian yeast strain and Brettanomyces Bruxellensis\, Evora features hints of citrus\, oak\, and bread crust. Aging in Portuguese brandy barrels augments the beer’s notes of tropical fruit and a tart citrus finish. \nLittle Sal – A sour red ale aged on wild lowbush blueberries. This violet beer is filled with earthy aromas of blueberry and oak with a tart\, juicy flavor. \n
