SUMMARY:25th Annual Colorado Brewers Rendezvous
DESCRIPTION:Brought to you by the Colorado Brewers Guild (CBG) and the Salida Chamber of Commerce\, the 25th Annual Colorado Brewers Rendezvous will take place on Saturday\, October 2 in historic Salida\, CO\, against a backdrop of beautiful views of the Collegiate Peaks and the Arkansas River. Coming back for its third year\, the Pre-Vous\, an intimate gathering featuring light food and 20 breweries pouring exclusive beers not available at the Brewers Rendezvous\, will occur the night before on October 1 at the historic SteamPlant Event Center. Tickets for both events go on sale online on July 12 at 12 p.m. \nLast year due to COVID-19 festival organizers made the difficult decision to cancel the highly popular craft beer event. This year\, Salida will welcome beer lovers back on October 2 at Riverside Park to enjoy unlimited samplings from Colorado craft breweries\, live music\, and local food fair. \n“Our staff and Board of Directors are proud to bring this coveted event to you. Partnering with the Guild makes for a dynamic team\, and together we not only showcase this gorgeous place we call home\, but the talent of our Colorado craft brewers\,” says Salida Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lori Roberts. \n“While here\, we hope that you will take the time to visit our local shops\, restaurants\, and libation hubs. After all\, it is our motto to enjoy beer\, food\, and music in Salida!” \nRooted in camaraderie and tradition\, the Colorado Brewers Rendezvous is unlike any other craft beer fest stemming from the Colorado Brewers Guild’s desire to find a place for brewers to gather and conduct their annual meeting. Because many brewers were already attending the Salida Beer Festival in 1995\, Salida became the impromptu meeting grounds for their membership meeting. Since then\, the Rendezvous has been a cherished craft beer festival and fundraiser for both the CBG and Salida Chamber of Commerce for 25 years. \n“The Colorado Brewers Rendezvous is one of the most anticipated events in the brewing industry. Brewers look forward to participating in this iconic event\, which makes it a great opportunity for beer drinkers to meet the faces who make some of their favorite Colorado beers\,” says Shawnee Adelson. “We’re thrilled to continue the tradition of having Salida host this time-honored tradition year after year.” \nSafety Precautions:\nPer local regulations\, this will be a reduced capacity event. Masks will not be enforced. All vendors and staff will be fully vaccinated. Festival organizers encourage all attendees to be fully vaccinated and stay home if they are not feeling well. \nTickets\, which cost $40 for the Pre-Vous on October 1 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. are limited to 120 people. General admission tickets cost $55 and VIP tickets cost $110 for the Colorado Brewers Rendezvous on October 2 from 1 to 5 p.m.\, with VIP entry starting at 12 p.m. Tickets for both events will go on sale July 12 at 12 p.m. This is a 21+ event. \nA list of participating breweries and information about lodging will be provided at a later time.

SUMMARY:3rd Annual Brownie Bash with Pontoon & Nappy Roots
DESCRIPTION:Pontoon Brewing and Bottleshare are proud to present a beer festival like no other in Georgia – Brownie Bash 2021! For the first time\, Pontoon and Bottleshare have invited amazing breweries from across the United States to participate in the annual beer festival and this year the festival will be capped off with a performance by Atlanta’s own Nappy Roots. \nBrownie Bash was created to coincide with the annual release of Pontoon’s coveted Barrel-Aged Brownie Batter stout and to celebrate all things beer\, brownie\, and decadent! The one-day event will take place at Pontoon’s brewery and taproom in Sandy Springs on September 25th 2021. Festivities will include the release of the 2021 Barrel-Aged Brownie Batter Blend and the unique variations of it crafted specially for the festival\, a tap list of over a hundred brownie and desert-inspired beers from Pontoon and 60+ guest breweries\, a collection of the area’s favorite food trucks\, a knock-down\, drag-out brownie competition\, and live music from Nappy Roots. \nBrownie Batter is a world-class rated stout that features just the basics: water\, malt\, hops and yeast. The beer is then aged in carefully selected oak barrels for 6-18 months to impart additional flavor\, character\, and complexity. The result is a mind-blowing stout with notes of dark chocolate\, caramel\, and oak barrel and spirit character – Pontoon’s version of a liquid brownie. \nEach year at Brownie Bash\, in true Pontoon fashion\, the brewery also releases not one but three mouthwatering variations of Brownie Batter. This year Pontoon is excited to showcase PB&J\, Vanilla\, and Loaded French Toast variations of the Brownie Batter stout. \nSince its inception\, Brownie Bash has grown into not only a celebration but also a way to give back to the community and the industry. Bottleshare\, a local craft beverage industry charity\, has teamed with Pontoon to host Brownie Bash and the festival will help raise awareness and funds for Bottleshare to support members of the craft industry experiencing financial hardship. \nAs part of Brownie Bash’s growth this year\, Pontoon is also extremely excited to partner with Nappy Roots to give this year’s Brownie Bash an extra bang! Being brewers themselves\, Nappy Roots will participate in Brownie Bash and then perform a concert outside the brewery the evening of the festival. Tickets for the festival include admission to the concert and additional tickets to the concert may become available for purchase on site. \nBrownie Bash will be held primarily outdoors in areas surrounding Pontoon’s brewery and taproom as well as limited areas inside the taproom. CDC recommendations will be followed for Brownie Bash with spacing between tents\, sanitizing stations set up\, and disposable cups in use. \nTickets for Brownie Bash will go on sale on pontoon.oznr.com at 10:00am on Friday July 2nd. General Admission tickets are $75 and include a Brownie Bash taster glass and access to the massive tap list available for the festival. VIP tickets are available for $150 and include early access to the festival\, 2 exclusive VIP Barrel-Aged Brownie Blend bottles\, a specialty Brownie Bash glass\, exclusive VIP only beers\, and 1 food ticket to redeem at the food trucks at the festival. Both General Admission and VIP ticket holders will have access to the Nappy Roots performance. \nMembers of Pontoon Brewing’s “Pontoon Regatta Club” will receive early access to tickets on July 1st\, 2021 as their first perk of the 2021 membership cycle. Enrollment for the 2021 membership cycle opened on June 18th and is still available on pontoon.ozne.com.

SUMMARY:Westside Beer Fest
DESCRIPTION:The Westside Beer Fest\, a brand-new festival to celebrate Oregon’s thriving craft beer scene\, is coming to Hillsboro this fall. The event\, presented by the team behind the renowned Oregon Brewers Festival\, will take place September 24 through September 26\, 2021\, at the Wingspan Event Center at the Washington County Fairgrounds. \nCo-founded by Art Larrance and Teddy Peetz\, the Westside Beer Fest is a simple\, joyful celebration of Oregon craft beer. Thirty independent craft brewers from the Willamette Valley\, Oregon Coast\, Columbia River Gorge\, Central Oregon\, Eastern Oregon\, Southern Oregon\, and the Portland Metro Area have been invited to participate in this inaugural event\, which is designed to showcase the quality and variety of craft beers that the state has to offer. Two Oregon craft cideries will join the beer lineup; the full list of participating breweries and cideries will be unveiled in August \n“After the long months of lockdown\, we are thrilled to welcome craft beer lovers to Hillsboro\,” said festival co-founder Art Larrance. “We want to raise a glass and toast Oregon’s craft brewers by spotlighting a few dozen of the state’s best breweries in this beautiful new space.” \nThe festival will feature many never-before-seen brews along with some unique favorites from across Oregon. There will be food vendors and souvenir sales\, as well as free\, handcrafted root beer for designated drivers\, courtesy of Crater Lake Soda. \nTickets will be sold online at www.westsidebeerfest.com starting later in August\, and will also be available at the festival entrance. This event is exclusively for those 21 years old and older\, but guests over 21 may enter without purchasing a ticket. In order to taste beer\, attendees must purchase a souvenir tasting mug and drink tabs\, which can each be exchanged for 14-ounce pours of beer. A mug and three tabs will be $25\, and additional tabs can be purchased for $6 each\, and mugs for $7 each. \nOn-site ticket sales will be cash only\, and there is an ATM located inside the Wingspan Event Center.Event organizers are actively seeking volunteers to help pour beer and keep the festival running smoothly. Volunteers\, who must be at least 21 years old\, will each receive a festival t-shirt\, souvenir tasting mug\, and vouchers for beer as appreciation for their time commitment and hard work. The volunteer application will be on the festival website. \nThe Wingspan Event Center is a new\, state-of-the-art facility located at Westside Commons\, a multi-use campus that hosts the annual Washington County Fair in Hillsboro. TriMet’s MAX Light Rail Blue Line and bus #47 both stop adjacent to the campus\, providing convenient transportation for festival goers. Parking is $8 per day\, per car.
