SUMMARY:Sly Fox Bock Fest & Goat Race 2022
DESCRIPTION:BOCK FEST& GOAT RACE\nThe first Sunday in May is a special time at the brewery…the Sly Fox Bock Festival & Goat Race is held every year\, rain or shine! Called “Philadelphia’s best beer event\,” the Bock Fest & Goat Races draw massive crowds of people who love to celebrate spring with great beer!\nDelicious food and German oompah music will complement our bock beer-loaded lineup on the first Sunday in May for the first time in 3 years!\nThe Sly Fox team of brewers produce a mouthwatering lineup of bock beers including Instigator Doppelbock\, Rye-zenbock\, and of course our amazing Maibock. The day marks the release of the Maibock which is tapped immediately after the Goat Race and named in honor of the winning goat. \nA wide-open\, grassy field neighboring the 30\,000 square-foot brewery is the annual site for the running of the ruminants and festival fun. Live German Oompah music plays from a stage and there is even coverage of the Goat Races on a jumbotron. Afterward\, some of the goats and their owners mingle with the crowd\, delighting the many children in attendance with their families. SUMMARY:Short's Brewing Anni Party 2022
DESCRIPTION:Short’s Brewing Co. Anni Party is BACK!\nAfter two long years\, Anni Party is finally back and scheduled for April 30th in downtown Bellaire\, Michigan.\nEvery year on the last weekend in April beer lovers from across the country head to a small\, rural\, Northern Michigan town for a celebration of epic proportions—Short’s annual Anni Party. At least\, until COVID showed up. \nThe first-anniversary party (2005!) was a milestone for the brewery—a true celebration of tenacity and survival and truly necessary to keep the lights on at the Pub. Over the years the party has evolved to include downtown Bellaire\, with profits from the party going towards community development and beautification projects\, and drawing headliners like Billy Strings\, Joshua Davis\, The Accidentals\, Dean Ween and the Brownouts\, Vulfpeck\, and more. \n“After making it thru the last two years it felt really important to acknowledge our collective experience and celebrate living. “Life is Short’s” is one of our mantras\, and a great reminder to live every day to the fullest because you just don’t know how long it will last.” Christa Brenner\, Marketing & Brand Director \nThere will be a very limited number of tickets available in order to accommodate folks who have been holding onto their tickets since early 2020. And if that doesn’t tell you just how awesome this party is\, you’ll just have to see for yourself. \nDetails:\n\nSaturday\, April 30\, 2022\n4-9pm with early entry (pre-party) options available\n40+ beers and ciders + bands\, food\, and fun\n$45 general admission\, $70 for pre-party\nProceeds from the party go towards community development and beautification in Northern Michigan\n\nExisting ticket holders were emailed March 11\, 2022\, and can email anniparty@shortsbrewing.com with any questions.
