Event proceeds benefit Pioneer Day\, a beloved Paso Robles community organization dedicated to local events and historic preservation. \n“The Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest was born from a dream of creating a world-class festival featuring some of the best brewers in the world\,” said Brewmaster Matt Brynildson. “This is a day when we can set the sales pitches aside and simply share our beers and stories with passionate craft drinkers.” \nSince its inaugural event in 2012\, the Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest has become renowned as one of the world’s most esteemed beer festivals. DESCRIPTION:VIBE 2022: Very Independent Beer Event\nA little background on this year’s event:  We’ve held a Rare Beer Festival for the past six years in various locations in Greenville\, growing to 1200 tickets for our event at Fluor Field in 2018.  While the events were always a success (50+ breweries giving samples\, cool takeaway beer glasses\, entertainment including local artists!) we really wanted to focus on something smaller\, like what was happening in the VIP area at the festival. \n  Hence VIBE (Very Independent Beer Event)was born – taking our VIP concept and bringing it home to our flagship location near downtown… limited tickets\, world class beers\, in a space that we love (and control!) so we can invite our favorite local chefs to provide the food!   \nChefs TBA! \n(2021 Chefs included:) \nAlex George – GB&D\nTobin Simpson – Project Host\nMeredith Bost – Resident Dogs\nNeil Winter – our resident Cheese Nerd

We raise funds through various collaborations and partnerships within the community\, and the generous support of donors and sponsors. Bottleshare then grants emergency financial assistance to brewery\, winery\, and distillery businesses and workers who have experienced extreme hardships that prevent them from working and producing an income. \nALL PROCEEDS FROM THE EVENT WILL BE DONATED BACK TO BOTTLESHARE\, SO THAT WE CAN CONTINUE TO FUND OUR VARIOUS PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO SUPPORT THE CRAFT BEVERAGE COMMUNITY.

SUMMARY:Westside Beer Fest
DESCRIPTION:The Westside Beer Fest\, a brand-new festival to celebrate Oregon’s thriving craft beer scene\, is coming to Hillsboro this fall. The event\, presented by the team behind the renowned Oregon Brewers Festival\, will take place September 24 through September 26\, 2021\, at the Wingspan Event Center at the Washington County Fairgrounds. \nCo-founded by Art Larrance and Teddy Peetz\, the Westside Beer Fest is a simple\, joyful celebration of Oregon craft beer. Thirty independent craft brewers from the Willamette Valley\, Oregon Coast\, Columbia River Gorge\, Central Oregon\, Eastern Oregon\, Southern Oregon\, and the Portland Metro Area have been invited to participate in this inaugural event\, which is designed to showcase the quality and variety of craft beers that the state has to offer. Two Oregon craft cideries will join the beer lineup; the full list of participating breweries and cideries will be unveiled in August \n“After the long months of lockdown\, we are thrilled to welcome craft beer lovers to Hillsboro\,” said festival co-founder Art Larrance. “We want to raise a glass and toast Oregon’s craft brewers by spotlighting a few dozen of the state’s best breweries in this beautiful new space.” \nThe festival will feature many never-before-seen brews along with some unique favorites from across Oregon. There will be food vendors and souvenir sales\, as well as free\, handcrafted root beer for designated drivers\, courtesy of Crater Lake Soda. \nTickets will be sold online at www.westsidebeerfest.com starting later in August\, and will also be available at the festival entrance. This event is exclusively for those 21 years old and older\, but guests over 21 may enter without purchasing a ticket. In order to taste beer\, attendees must purchase a souvenir tasting mug and drink tabs\, which can each be exchanged for 14-ounce pours of beer. A mug and three tabs will be $25\, and additional tabs can be purchased for $6 each\, and mugs for $7 each. \nOn-site ticket sales will be cash only\, and there is an ATM located inside the Wingspan Event Center.Event organizers are actively seeking volunteers to help pour beer and keep the festival running smoothly. Volunteers\, who must be at least 21 years old\, will each receive a festival t-shirt\, souvenir tasting mug\, and vouchers for beer as appreciation for their time commitment and hard work. The volunteer application will be on the festival website. \nThe Wingspan Event Center is a new\, state-of-the-art facility located at Westside Commons\, a multi-use campus that hosts the annual Washington County Fair in Hillsboro. TriMet’s MAX Light Rail Blue Line and bus #47 both stop adjacent to the campus\, providing convenient transportation for festival goers. Parking is $8 per day\, per car. The festival encourages responsible drinking\, and requests visitors to make use of public transit\, rideshare services\, and designated drivers for the safety and enjoyment of everyone.  \nDoors open at 11:30 am daily\, and taps are open from noon to 9 pm Friday and Saturday\, and noon to 7 pm Sunday.

SUMMARY:Fresh Hop Pop-Up Beer Fest 17-day Hop Harvest Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Oregon’s freshest Fresh Hop event kicks off the seasonal hop harvest celebrations with 17 straight days of fun September 17 – October 3rd from 8 am – 10 pm. The 6th annual Portland Fresh Hop Pop-Up Beer Fest has yet to miss a year\, and this will be the largest lineup of beers so far. \nMore of a beer garden than a beer fest\, the Fresh Hop Pop-Up has the enviable position on the calendar to showcase fresh hop beers at their freshest points. With 10 constantly rotating taps\, the Pop-Up beer garden is able to feature more breweries\, hop varieties\, and regions than other fresh hop events. Throughout the 17 day pop-up there are days devoted to popular breweries like Fort George\, Breakside\, pFriem\, and Ruse\, as well as the fresh hop beers of Portland\, Bend\, Washington\, and the Gorge.  \nIt also boasts an outdoor\, open-air\, heated\, and covered venue at Portland’s best food cart pod the Prost! Marketplace. Originally founded in the parking lot of the late lamented Burnside Brewing Co.\, the Fresh Hop Pop-Up relocated to Prost! Marketplace in 2019 and reaps the benefits of the communal environment. The beer garden/marketplace features ten food trucks with all-stars like Matt’s BBQ and Little Conejo tacos\, plus vegan fusion options from the Native Bowl\, just to name a few. \nFresh Hop beers are made only once a year when the annual hop harvest takes place during the seasonal transition of summer into fall. Hops are cone-like flowers that impart beer with bitterness\, flavor\, and aroma. Most hops are dried and pelletized for use year-round\, but fresh hops are those whole unprocessed cones\, still sticky with lupulin\, with extra splashes of floral flavors and effervescence. Oregon and Washington grow the majority of hops in the United States and thus have access to fresh hops that are typically used within just hours of harvest. \nThe Fresh Hop Pop-Up Beer Fest is an all-day 8 am – 10 pm affair with plenty of reasons to come back to for repeat visits over 9/17 – 10/3 to experience the best Washington and Oregon has to offer. All beers will be offered in 10oz or 16oz pours\, and growler fills or mason jar priced to take home. No cover charge or tickets are necessary. Prost! Marketplace is also all-ages friendly on a covered\, outdoor\, elevated deck that has been called Portland’s “top food cart pod” by The Oregonian. \nFriday 9/17 – Kickoff with Goschie Farms and an all Portland brewery showcase \nMeet the legendary 3rd generation Oregon hop farmer Gayle Goschie in person and try 5+ beers made with fresh hops from her Goschie Farms in Silverton\, Oregon! Gayle will be in attendance from 4-7 pm but the beers will be on draft all day. \nSunday. 9/19 – Bend Fresh Hop Night \nA regionally themed showcase of the fresh hop beers of Bend\, Oregon featuring Sunriver Brewing\, Boss Rambler Beer Club\, and Bend Brewing Co. \nWednesday 9/22 – Fort George Fresh Hop Night \nAstoria\, Oregon’s famed Fort George Brewery will be here with all 4 of their 2021 fresh hop beers on draft! \nThursday 9/23 – Breakside Brewery Fresh Hop Night \nBreakside Brewery will tap 5 fresh hop beers at the pop-up including fresh versions of the flagship IPA\, India Golden Ale (IGA)\, What Fresh Beast\, @Portland IPA\, and Wanderlust.  \nFri. – Sun. 9/24-26 – Fresh Oktoberfest \nProst!
