Troegs Mad Elf Hits Draft November 17th. (Big Bottles Ship Too)
Troegs Brewing’s (Hershey, PA) Mad Elf will launch on draft across the brewery’s entire distribution footprint starting November 17th. The beer is a Belgian strong ale, brewed with Pennsylvania honey, sweet and sour cherries, and chocolate malt.
Mad Elf gift packs have already shipped. 101 oz bottles of Mad Elf arrive in November as well.
Recently, Troegs Brewing opened distribution to North Carolina.
Last of Three Seasonals: Troegs Blizzard of Hops
Troegs Brewing (Hershey, PA) will finishes out their and a run of special hop based seasonals with Blizzard of Hops. Blizzard follows Cultivator Helles Bock, and Hop Knife released this year.
Blizzard of Hops is billed as a winter IPA, a hoppy finish to the hop season, as well as the year.
The Hop Cycle comes to a close with Blizzard of Hops. As winter creeps in, we salute hop growers around the world. Enjoy the fruits of their labor and savor sticky notes of citrus & pine with this revitalizing Winter IPA.

Troeg’s Bottles Mad Elf 2014
Troeg’s Brewing (Hershey, PA) has already started bottling seasonal offering, Mad Elf. The brewery announced it on Instagram Tuesday afternoon, but later deleted the post.
Mad Elf is a Belgian-style strong ale, brewed with cherries and honey. No word if it will be head to shelves sooner rather than later. in 2012, the beer was available prior to Halloween.

Troegs Jovial Goes Year Round in Corked Bottles
Troegs Brewing (Hershey, PA) will launch their Belgian-style abbey dubbel year round. The 375ml corked and caged bottles is the second year round in the series. Important to note, Jovial Belgian imperial stout with chocolate and raspberries was scraped and never released.
Fermented with Westmalle yeast to contribute hints of dark fruit (think raisin, fig, date, and prune), the flavor develops to add traces of toffee, chocolate, and subtle spices.
Troegs Jovial is being bottle conditioned as you read this. Expect to see it across the brewery’s entire distribution footprint later in September, early October.

New Release: Troegs Hop Knife
Troegs Brewing (Hershey, PA) has released the second in a series of three hop forward seasonals in 2014. Hop Knife is a harvest ale that utilizes hops at the peak of the growing season, insert them into the brewery’s Hop Cyclone during fermentation. The result is a beer full of chewy, fresh hops flavors, meant to be consumed as fresh as possible.
Hop Knife Harvest Ale recognizes the meticulous, time-honored tradition of hand-harvesting hops at the peak of maturity. Our HopCyclone process creates an inward spiral of hop dispersal during fermentation, releasing a bounty of citrus, resin and tropical aromas.
The first in the series was Troegs Cultivator, and the series will be completed with Blizzard of Hops later this year.
