Red Brick
COMING SOON: Red Brick 16th Anniversary
A follow up to last years popular 15th Anniversary by Red Brick Brewing (Atlanta, GA) is 16th Anniversary Ale. This year’s edition boasts a few changes.
16th is Red Brick’s Brown Ale (A double brown as they call it) aged 6 months in Jack Daniels bourbon barrels. (15th was 13 mos. in Pappy). Also, 16th Anniversary won’t be in 22 oz bombers but 12oz/4 pks. The production is slightly higher in 2011.
Another interesting note, 16th Anniversary is the first of 4 beers in Red Brick’s new “Brick Mason” series. (Post to follow)
Style: Imperial Brown Ale (barrel aged)
Arrival: Late February – Early March, 2011.
7.5% ABV
COMING SOON: Red Brick Helluva Bock
Red Brick Brewing (Atlanta, GA) is bringing a their bock out of retirement. By my best estimations, this beer last made an appearance around 2005. In 2011, the beer gets a fancy new name – “Hellava Bock” & a fancy new label.
The details haven’t been finalized, but looks like it will be shipping in the next 4-6 weeks.

NEW RELEASE: Red Brick Long John
The winter seasonal from Red Brick Brewing is upon us. Replacing the breweries “Winter” label will be Long John Ale this season. It’s a dark ale with a Belgian flair that cellars well, much like it’s Winter predecessors.
From Red Brick:
Red Brick Brewing’s newest beer for the winter season is a Belgian-style Dark Ale. It took several different malts from the United States and Belgium to get this beer to its hefty alcohol by volume (abv) of 8.2%. Chestnut brown in color with aromas of dark fruits and bananas rising from an alcohol laced head. A nice dried fruit and chocolate flavor makes it a wonderful winter beer. The beer will launched at the brewery on November 10th and bottles will be released in stores shortly thereafter.
Taste Expectations: Sweet Belgian candi sugar, dark fruits, subtle touch of roasty coffee.
