The 3rd “Skull”: Laughing Skull White Ale

Laughing Skull White Ale

The “Laughing Skull” brand is a bit of Atlanta brewing history. When the city first saw the beer, a collaboration with Red Brick Brewing and “The Vortex” (home to one of Atlanta’s best burgers), it was a bohemian pilsner. Honestly, a craft pilsner was a bit ahead of it’s time near 15 years ago, and slumping sales killed it off.

A few years ago, Red Brick resurrected the brand, reinventing it as an amber ale, bring success back to the “Laughing Skull” lineup. So much so, a second beer, Laughing Skull Craft Lager was added shortly after.

This week a third release, Laughing Skull White Ale joins Skull lineup.

The brewery’s hometown isn’t the first to taste this white ale. The country of South Korea has had it for a while, as Red Brick originally brewed this for their South Korean distributor.

White Ale was originally made specifically for our South Korean distributor, but it was so well received both overseas and at the brewery that we knew we needed to release it domestically. We first started pouring it at the brewery in June of 2016 and it has quickly become a crowd favorite.” – Garett Lockhart, President & Brewmaster

Red Brick White Ale is available in 12 ounce cans and draft.

Style: White Ale
Availability: 12oz Cans, Draft.

Red Brick Laughing Skull Craft Lager, 2nd in the series

Red Brick Laughing Skull Craft Lager

Red Brick Laughing Skull Craft Lager will expand the “Skull” lineup this spring.

The Laughing Skull line many years ago as a Bohemian pilsner. The beer’s namesake is Atlanta’s Laughing Skull Lounge, a comedy club. At the time, the beer was a little ahead of it’s time for the city. Year’s later, Laughing Skull returned as the current amber lager. The beer is one of the most popular in the brewery’s portfolio.

This April, Red Brick Laughing Skull Craft Lager will the second entry in the “Skull” lineup. This release is a lager – lighter than the amber, to create an easy drinking beer for the coming warmer weather.

“The lager style is something that’s been missing from our offerings, and we’ve come up with a great recipe. Its an easy drinking beer and is very approachable for craft beer consumers of all levels.”

Red Brick Laughing Skull Craft Lager will be a draft, bottle and can offering.

Style: Lager

Red Brick Vanilla Gorilla Returns to Brick Mason Lineup

Red Brick Vanilla Gorilla

Red Brick Vanilla Gorilla is returning as a permanent addition to the brewery’s Brick Mason lineup this month. The beer originally returned back to draft lineup in 2010. Since then, barrel aged, and smoked editions have been released.

Featuring Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans, which impart a rich, dark, and creamy character, these qualities enhance the luxurious chocolate notes in the carefully selected blend of six different malts. The result is a beer at the height of our creative expression as brewers, and completely deserving of our hightest distinction as a Brick Mason.

Red Brick 22nd Anniversary IPA Debuts This Week

Red Brick 22nd Anniversary IPA

Red Brick 22nd Anniversary IPA will debut this week. The oldest craft brewery in Georgia is crossing the 22nd year mark.

Hops: Jaryllo, Pacifica, Huell Melon, Galaxy, Citra, Apollo, Bravo, Topaz, and Calypso
