Olde Hickory Imperial Dominance unites bourbon and cherries. While Saison Independence snubs the “bourbon barrel” establishment”, Imperial Dominance celebrates it. Dominance is part of an emerging series by the North Carolina brewery — A Tale of Two Barrels.
An Imperial Stout- bold, dark, powerful. Adorned with rich flavors from the bourbon barrel and seductive cherries, the imposing Imperial Dominance believes its position in the heirarchy to be unassailable. But there are rumors of another barrel. Is a revolution on the horizon?

Introducing Olde Hickory Saison Revolution. This saison snubs it’s nose at the “bourbon barrel” establishment” giving rise to a new world. Apple brandy barrel aging. (Which, by the way makes damn good beer.) Saison Rev is part of an emerging series by the North Carolina brewery – A Tale of Two Barrels.
A humble, earthy Saison fights for recognition in a world of imperials. Eschewing the bourbon barrel establishment, Saison Revolution reaches toward a new future through aging in local apple brandy barrels with ardent cherries. Is it the time for the rise of a new class of barrels?

Duck Rabbit/Olde Hickory/Foothills Olde Rabbit’s Foot Returns 12/8
The 4th release of the North Carolina collaborative brew Olde Rabbit’s Foot returns Saturday, December 8. Duck Rabbit, Olde Hickory, and Foothills each contributed wort from their imperial stouts, then aged it in Pappy Van Winkle barrels. Honey and cocoa nibs are then added for a flavor enhancement.
Bottles will be $20 dollars each, on sale at Foothills at 10 am. 10/8/12

Olde Hickory Brewing Company (Charlotte, NC) releases Lindley Park this week. Lindley is an imperial stout brewed with raspberries, honey and aged in bourbon barrels.
Lindley Park is a sublime state of mind, captured & bottled for your enjoyment. An imperial stout brewed with honey and with raspberries added, then aged in oak barrels; the resultant flavor is a delectable marriage of chocolate and raspberries. This is B’s Nuts. The 2012 Olde Hickory Pro Am Winner. Brewed by Brian Pesci. If the name doesn’t make you laugh, you’re too mature for me.
Brian’s a good guy. We like Brian. But, well,… that’s him over there. So you can imagine what happened when he decided to brew a Brown Ale for the 3rd Annual Olde Hickory Pro Am. He took a classic English-Style Brown Ale and gave it an American twist, via a ton of pecans. We like Brian. We love this beer.

Newbie from Olde Hickory Brewery (Hickory, NC) – Southern Belle. A belgian style farmhouse ale.
Southern Belle – epitome of grace, poise, charm and Southern hospitality. Irreplacable, imitable, and unforgettable, the Belle holds a place in the hearts of all she meets. Our Southern Belle is brewed with un-malted wheat and acidulated malts which make for a very bright and refreshing saison. Like many a Southern Belle she is both sweet and tart, smooth and brisk.
