Fordham Candi

Old Dominion Brewing will soon release Candi, a Belgian-style Tripel. The double entendre you’ll see is Candi (the pretty lady on the label) and candi sugar, used in the brew. Candi is part the brewery’s “Bomber Girls” series.

It’s truly a tradition at the brewery and craft beer drinkers have really come to respect our interpretation of the style. It’s also a transitional time for beer as people begin moving from lighter style wheat beers and Pilsners to more full-bodied and flavorful offerings.”

Dominion Millenium [Video]

A little video tidbit from Old Dominion on the making of their barleywine Millenium –

Millennium is brewed in the barley wine style to commemorate our 1,000th batch of beer. Its generous hopping and bottle conditioning allow this beer to be cellared and enjoyed for many years. 10.5% alcohol by volume and featuring 2-Row Muntons Pale Malt, Light Crystal, Mt. Hood & East Kent Goldings hops, this palate pleaser pairs well with sharp cheeses and a variety of desserts.  It is best served in a snifter or pint glass at 50-55ºF.  Due to the overwhelming popularity of Millennium, the brewery has already sold out.  Check your local retailer today!
