Lakefront and Leinenkugel’s to Team Up Again
Lakefront Brewing has announced that they will once again collaborate with Leinenkugel’s for the Wisconsin Restaurant Expo this week and Craft Beer Week in May. Checkpoint Charlie, a Berliner Weisse, is brewed with Wisconsin wheat and will be served with a dash of cherry syrup from Milwaukee-based Bittercube in traditional Berliner style.
This is the third consecutive year the two brewers have joined up to make a special beer. Previous years’ collabs include Oaty Goat Doppelbock and Rye Road.
“We’ve had fun collaborating with Leinenkugel’s the past few years, and even more importantly, we’ve enjoyed drinking the beer we’ve brewed. I think people will find Checkpoint Charlie to be an interesting and flavorful beer experience, which is what we aimed to create.” Russ Klisch, president Lakefront Brewery.

Leinenkugel’s Canoe Paddler Arrives
It may be January, it maybe cold, but Leinenkugel’s Spring/Summer seasonal Canoe Paddler Kolsch is hitting shelves now.
... The brilliantly clear Canoe Paddler features subtle hints of lemon grass and white pepper. We’ve also added a touch of rye, which provides a nice clean, dry finish, helping to maximize refreshment.

Leinenkugel Adding New Shandy
More than half of Leinenkugel’s sales are for Summer Shandy. Makes perfect sense to expand the line with more offerings. In addition to Summer Shandy, the brewery recently add Lemon Berry Shandy to the lineup. (On shelves now). The demand for Summer Shandy was so big this year, it was was released earlier than normal – on Leap Day, February 29. Also, look out for Canoe Paddler Kolsch coming next year.

Leinenkugel Canoe Paddler Cans This Summer Too…
Leinenkugel Brewing Co. (Chippewa Falls, WI) will release Canoe Paddler Kölsch in 2013. The new summer seasonal will launch beside Summer Shandy. In addition to bottles of this heat beating beer, look for cans to join the fray. A kölsch is good pool drinking.

Leinenkugel’s Canoe Paddler A New Summer Seasonal
Leinenkugel Brewing Co. (Chippewa Falls, WI) will release Canoe Paddler Kölsch in 2013. Paddler will be a new summer seasonal for Leine’s, alongside Summer Shandy. Testing trials in preparation for the release are being done this week according to John Leinenkugel.

Leinenkugel Lemon Berry Shandy Arrives Sept 1
Leinenkugel’s will add to its shandy portfolio on September 1st.
Lemon Berry Shandy will officially launch according to the brewery. Lemon Berry is much like Summer Shandy – a weiss beer blended with blackberry, raspberry, and lemon juice.
