Crux Fermentation Project’s newest seasonal: Mountain Traffic

Crux Fermentation Project Mountain Traffic

The latest seasonal from Crux Fermentation Project, Mountain Traffic is now available.

Traffic truly sucks, but we are going to assume this hoppy red ale doesn’t. Per Crux:

After a fun day in the mountains, nothing sounds more satisfying than sharing a refreshing pint. And while that long line of brake lights heading back into town may slow your journey towards fulfillment, this hoppy and malt-forward red ale is well worth the wait – robust and bursting with rich, hop flavors and a balanced malt body this easy-drinking, apres-whatever winter refresher will have you seeing a different shade of red.

Crux Fermentation Project Mountain Traffic is available as a seasonal release in 16-ounce cans and draft.

Style: Red Ale
Availability: 16oz Cans, Draft. Seasonal Release.

Debut: October 2019

7.8% ABV, 50 IBUs

Crux Fermentation Project Releasing First Bottles

Crux Fermentation Project Doublecross

Crux Fermentation Project (Bend, OR) is excited to release their first round of bottles in the brewery’s history. Among the releases is Doublecross, a dark Belgian-style ale. 16.9oz bottles will hit local bottle shops starting June 7th.

A vibrant reddish-black hue, substantial body and pleasant headiness give this dark Belgian-style ale an alluring first impression. The intense flavors of dark candi sugar conspire to deceive with flavors that remind us of preserved fruits and holiday spicing, but the true agent is the Trappist yeast–and a suspicious drinkability.

Style: Belgian Strong Dark Ale
Availability: 16.9 oz bottles, Draft

11% ABV

Crux Fermentation Project Impasse Saison Ale

Crux Fermentation Project Impasse Saison Ale

Crux Fermentation Project (Bend, OR) is releasing the first bottles in the brewery’s history starting June 7th. Impasse Saison Ale is one of those first releases, in 16.9 oz bottles.

When we set out to brew a saison, we were at an impasse: an open fermentation process would give us more interesting, complex flavors, but a closed fermentation process would give us more control and, let’s be honest, more beer. We decided to honor the history of the French saison, and give that farmhouse yeast a little room to breathe. Our open fermentation process coaxes out peppery, herbal and slightly tart attributes, and releases slightly smokey, earthy esters, while a kiss of acidulated malt and wheat lends the perfect complement.

Style: Saison
Availability: 16.9 oz bottles, Draft

6.6% ABV
