Chris Troegner on the build and relocation of Troeg’s Brewing from Harrisburg to Hershey, PA. Couple of cool things:
First beers to roll out at the new location – Mad Elf and Scratch #50. The new 150 seat tasting room opens this week. It features a 70 foot table, and a bar made from Pennsylvania hickory.
This move will double capacity – from 30,000 barrels to 60,000 barrels (930,000 gals to 1.8 million gals) annually.
The staff has doubled – from just over 30 to 65 employees. Troeg’s started in Harrisburg in 1997.
