Full Sail Adds to Brewer’s Share Lineup
Did you know that February is Stout Month? Full Sail will be celebrating with the addition of Mathias’s Main Ingredient Oatmeal Stout, the newest addition to their Brewer’s Share experimental lineup. The beer, created by head chef Mathias Engblom, “has a smoothly rich, complex palate with notes of chocolate, toffee, and espresso.” In conjunction with this series, Full Sail donates a portion of these beer’s sales to a local charity of choice, with Mathias’s Main Ingredient sales going to VFW Post 4273 of Sandy, Oregon.

Full Sail’s New Malt Liquor Releases In Sept
Full Sail Brewing will release another edition of the Brewer’s Share series in September. Big Daddy J’s Malt Liquor is a beer developed by Assistant Brewing Supervisor, Jason Muñoz.
As a new dad and a graduate of Oregon State University’s Brewing Sciences program, Jason celebrates his inner college student and his new station in life with Big Daddy J. Big Daddy J is a malt liquor that is perfectly balanced so that it’s clean and drinkable smoothness makes that 8% alcohol go down so easily. It’s golden in color and hopped with Hallertau Hersbrucker hops, IBU 28. BDJ redefines what malt liquor can be when brewed by a very talented craft brewer and new dad.

Berliner Weisse Next Up in Full Sail’s Brewer’s Share
Full Sail Brewing Company’s future edition of the Brewer’s Share program is a perfect summer style berliner weisse. Dubbed Chris’s Summer Delight, the series is a chance for the brewmasters to show off, and do some good for charity.
Four times a year we hand the keys to our massively talented brewers and let them throw down. Whoever comes up with the most insanely delicious new brew gets to share it with the entire beer-geekosphere. It’s something we call Brewer’s Share. And what, pray tell, inspired Chris to brew his wheat-o-riffic Summer Delight? A secret desire to have his cake and drink it too, perhaps? “I was inspired by my love of summer, actually ” says Chris. “When I found out we’d be brewing at the beginning of the season, I immediately thought of the perfect summer style – a Berliner Weiss.”

Another entry in Full Sail’s Brewer’s Share lineup for 2012 – Extra Special Barney or E.S.B.

And it was that our lead brewer Barney Brennan came to dream up Extra Special Barney ESB. “I was sitting on the deck at the brewery overlooking the river in the sunshine says Barney.” and it was one of those perfect beer moments. I hope my ESB will help create one of these moments for everybody else.”
