Ipswich Adds 5 Mile Hop Harvest IPA

Ipswich is adding 5 Mile Hop Harvest IPA to the series line up. The series features locally sourced ingredients from Essex, Massachusetts.  Each beer uses at least 50% MA ingredients, and at least one from within 5 miles of the brewery. Each release is completely different.

5 Mile Hop Harvest IPA is a local-ingredient sourced IPA with hops from Ipswich, MA and Malts from Essex, MA. The intensely hoppy and floral aroma is followed by a big bouquet of Cascade and other American hops with a finish that’s sure to delight IPA lovers!

Ipswich Harvest was just released this week (10/1).

Ipswich Releases Five Mile Corn Bock

Ipswich has officially released 5 Mile Corn BockThe series features locally sourced ingredients from Essex, Massachusetts.  Each beer uses at least 50% MA ingredients, and at least one from within 5 miles of the brewery. Each release is completely different.

We harvested Marini Farms’ famous corn maze to create this strong smooth bock. Tipping our cap to pre-Prohibition lagers, our American-style bock is rich in Massachusetts-grown barley and subtle spicy hops.

Ipswich Releases 5 Mile Rye Saison Ale

Ipswich has officially released 5 Mile Rye Saison Ale. The series features locally sourced ingredients from Essex, Massachusetts.  Each beer uses at least 50% MA ingredients, and at least one from within 5 miles of the brewery. Each release is completely different.

This is our most recent addition to the 5 Mile line of beers. We used Rye as our “one ingredient from within 5 Miles of the brewery”. It’s a wondrously spicy dry hopped concoction!

Ipswich Pumpernickel Rye Porter, Feb 11

Ipswich Brewery (Ipswich, MA) will debut Five Mile Pumpernickel Porter on February 11th, 2012.  The beer features ingredients from Massachusetts, and at least one ingredient within 5 miles of Ipswich.  It’s a beer that supports the local flair.   The beer is never the same twice.

This release is a Pumpernickel Rye Porter.
