Red Hare Brewing Surfaces In Georgia

Red Hare Brewing

Georgia is about to get another brewery – Red Hare Brewing.  It looks to be the brainchild of Bobby Thomas and Roger Davis.  It’s existence has flown a bit under the radar.  According to the brewery’s blog,  Red Hare was officially christened on November 17th, 2010.    Back in April, Red Hare purchased an 11,000 foot space on Delk Road in Marietta, Georgia and commenced building.

The brewhouse just arrived last week.  A 20 barrel brewhouse from British Columbia.  They unloaded a mash/lauter tun, brewkettle, hot liquor tank, CIP system, and two 40 barrel bright tanks from Specific Mechanical.  Initial beers include Wabbit Wheat Beer, Long Day Lager, and  Stowaway IPA.  When searching for information on these releases – there already is a beer by another brewing company called Stowaway IPA.  Hopefully no one is going to be upset by this.

No info on distributor, launch parties, or initial offering dates.  Below of pics from the brewhouse installation.
