New Belgium Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale, a Ben & Jerry’s collab launches soon

New Belgium Ben & Jerrys Beer

New Belgium Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale, a new collaboration with Ben & Jerry’s is on the horizon in Fort Collins, Colorado. The chocolate-y brown ale initially looks to benefit, or at least create awareness for Protect Our Winters, an organization founded by pro snowboarder Jeremy Jones. The organization seeks to lessen the impact of climate change on America’s snow laden mountains.

When two B Corps come together, delicious ideas are created. Our mutual dedication to using business as a force for good means you get to enjoy this brown ale laden with the chocolatey, salted-caramel, vanilla goodness while helping Protect Our Winters combat climate change. Dig in!

New Belgium Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale will be available in 12 ounce bottles. Ben & Jerry’s is releasing Salted Caramel Brown-ie Ale ice cream to compliment the beer. The frozen flavor consists of New Belgium Brown Ale Ice Cream with Salted Caramel Swirls and Fudge Brownies.

    • The label reads “Ale brewed with cocoa”. No mention of salt, caramel, or even natural flavors. A little mysterious. Someone should tell them if we eradicate factory farming, the rate of global warming would be cut in half within 7 years.

  1. Has anyone else tried this? I have a six pack and while it’s a nice dark ale I don’t taste ANY of the flavours that are supposed to be in there. Pfffft!

    • Yeah, I got a six pack last night and could only discern the vaguest of caramel tastes and a very slight sweet aftertaste. All in all a pretty middle of the road brown ale, and not as good as most New Belgium brews.

      • I DID notice that it’s far better at room temperature than really cold. Really cold and you taste NOTHING.
