Minnesota Bar Faces Felony Charge For Selling New Glarus

A Minnesota bar was recently busted by the police for selling New Glarus Spotted Cow in the state. New Glarus is only licensed for sale in their home state of Wisconsin.

New Glarus co-founder Deb Carey feels bad the bar is under investigation, and is flattered by by their fervent desire to sell Spotted Cow and more over the border.

The result of the investigation could lead to a felony charge.

  1. How does this happen. When I’m enjoying a great brew at a bar the last thing I’m thinking about is where the brewery is licensed. How would the police find out about this?
