A Coconut Bourbon County

Goose Island Brewing’s most highly sought after offerings would include anything that says Bourbon County on the label. The brewery takes an massive imperial stout and ages in (typically Heaven Hill) barrels for about a year or more. Beer geeks stand hours in line for it. Even fight over it.

In recent years, variants of this brew have surfaced. The Bourbon County line is now home to editions like Bourbon County Vanilla, Cherry Rye, Bourbon County Coffee, Barleywine and more.

Be sure to add this variant – Proprietor’s Bourbon County with coconut, aged in rye whiskey barrels. It sounds as tropical is it is dark, brooding, and delicious. This offering is coming in 22oz bottles in late November.
