Foothills Pilot Mountain Pale Ale

Foothills Brewing (Winston-Salem, NC) will start releasing a new 6-pack every three months this year. The first offering arrives on February 1st, with Pilot Mountain Pale Ale.

Foothills Pilot Mountain Pale Ale is a year round offering on tap, and hasn’t been bottled until now.

Named for one of western North Carolina’s iconic landmarks. A classic American style Pale Ale brewed with Crystal and Munich Malts, and aggressively hopped with Perle and Cascade for superior aroma and flavor. In name and in taste, a landmark beer.

Foothills Pilot Mountain Pale Ale will be available in 12oz bottles. Future releases include a session IPA, Oktoberfest, and black IPA.

  1. the font, label and name of the brewery closely resemble Double Mountain Brewery out of Hood River, OR. very original

    • I’m not sure how Foothills copied Double Mountain since Foothills has been around for 10 years, and Pilot Mountain is one of their original ales. It looks like Double Mountain has been around since 2007.
