Another in the line of metal inspired brews is Cigar City Brewing & GWAR’s Impaled Pale Ale. For those of you that don’t know, GWAR is a satirical metal band founded in Virginia in the 1980′s. They are pretty damn metal.
Well hold on to your souls. GWAR has teamed up with Tampa’s Cigar City Brewing for a new liquid track. Impaled Pale Ale will be brewed this summer we’re told, and canned for the GWAR-B-Q festival in Richmond, Virginia this August. Tickets for that go on sale June 6th.
