Victory Brewing to open downtown Philadelphia brewery in 2020
Since 1996, Victory Brewing Company has called Philly-adjacent Downington, Pennsylvania home. Since then, the brewery has expanded to Parkesburg and Kennett Square. Coming in late-2020, Victory will finally have an address in downtown Philadelphia.
A 14,000 square foot state-of-the-art brewery and taproom is being constructed in Center City Philadelphia’s Logan Square area. The location will house a production brewery with a Prospero Brewing System, a scratch kitchen, three separate bars, street-level outdoor seating as well as a rooftop patio.

Architecture firm Gerner Kronick + Valcarcel has been tapped for the build.
Victory Brewing Company expects the new location on Benjamin Franklin Parkway to be completed by the end of 2020. The cost of the new build was not disclosed.

There’s a new monkey in the Victory family, and it’s Twisted
Victory Twisted Monkey joins the brewery’s year-round lineup, just in time to celebrate their 23rd birthday.
Here at Beer Street Journal, we consider Victory Golden Monkey to be a craft beer classic. Actually, we use the term “Cadillac of craft beer” when talking of this famous, tasty beer primate. This month Golden Monkey has a new sibling – Twisted Monkey.
Incorporating the yeast that made Golden Monkey so popular, Victory Twisted Monkey is a Belgian-style blonde ale brewed with mango. According to the brewery, the fruity esters from the yeast are enhanced by the mango fruit addition.
Twisted Monkey heads to shelves year-round in 12-ounce cans, 12-ounce bottles, and draft.

Victory Summer Love gets a new look, 15 packs
The weather is about to get warmer, the days are about to get longer, and Victory Summer Love has returned with a fresh look.
For 9 years now, Victory Summer Love has the “unofficial” start to summer for the Downington, Pennsylvania based brewery. In 2015, the brewery debuted the summer sipper in 12-ounce cans, ensuring the beer’s place at every outdoor event all season long.
In 2018, Victory is giving you more love to drink. Not only is Summer Love sporting a new look, but you’ll also find it in new 15-packs.

Victory Blood Orange IPA is on deck, with agave syrup
Victory Blood Orange IPA is on deck for the Pennsylvania based brewery.
Blood Orange and touch of agave syrup are the stars of this forthcoming India pale ale. The brewery previously released an IPA brewed with agave in their Blackboard Series.
This rose-colored IPA explodes with citrus aromas, flavors of blood orange, and smooth maltiness.
Victory Blood Orange IPA will be available in 12-ounce bottles and draft. The brewery has not yet announced this release.

Victory Black Forest Cake Stout with Cherry
On Deck: Victory Homegrown New American Lager
A beer that might have you dreaming of warmer temperatures. Victory Homegrown American Lager is on deck by the Pennsylvania based brewery.
Using American whole cone hops, the brewery touts this future lager at “distinctly resinous”. Victory may lean towards German whole flower hops like Hallertau, and European styles like pilsner and radler, Homegrown New American Lager features Yakima, Washington grown hops. Brewed just outside the birthplace of America – Philadelphia. Seems pretty “homegrown” to us.
All-American hop aromatics-dank aroma. Dry-hopped aggressively. Full flavor, but dry finish. Clean VBC lager profile.
Victory Homegrown New American Lager is slated to be a draft, 12 ounce can, and bottle release. The brewery has not yet announced this beer.

Victory Kirsch Gose (sour cherry bier) returns in 6 packs
Victory Kirsch Gose the Downingtown, Pennsylvania brewery’s seasonal gose, returns to shelves once again March 1st.
