Each batch has had a geographic variation to it. Batch 538 has St. Louis, MO on the label. Batch 537: Los Angeles, CA. Batch 542: Fairfield, California. Now, Batch 541: Baldwinsville, NY. Each of those cities has an AB brewery/production location.

Anheuser-Busch has officially made their foray into the cider world with Michelob ULTRA Light Cider. The low-cal cider is officially making its national debut this week, touted as a refreshing alternative to white wine, champagne and heavy ciders. This is the first cider that AB has ever produced in the United States, at the Baldwinsville, New York plant.

Some in teresting news surfaced yesterday from the beer giant, Anheuser-Busch. A new series, with a smaller, more hand-made feel to it. The Brewmaster’s Small Batch Series is already raising a few eyebrows. The above (Batch No 537) is the second label to surface in as many days.

Today, Anheuser Busch officially announces the national launch of Bud Light Lime-A-Rita. For this new offering, Budweiser blended Bud Light Lime & margarita mix. Mike Sundet, vice president, Bud Light tells it like this:
“As warm weather starts to take hold across the country, people want light and refreshing beverages to keep them cool all summer long,” said Mike Sundet, vice president, Bud Light. “This is our take on the traditional margarita. This should leave some sour tastes in peoples mouths. The beer giant Anheuser-Busch might just have a new method to increase shipments and sales. (Which both have been falling for sometime now.)
Instead of changing with the tastebuds of the consumer, or even just accepting some loss due to a booming market and a wide range of choices, AB is taking the low road as it were. Forcing wholesalers to pick sides. A form of intimidate as it were. The low road is two fold. First – Ship 19 new brands this year – like Shock Top Shandy and Bud Light Platinum.
