Brewery’s Awesome Response to Required Food Menu

This little gem comes from Redditor, Never-On-Reddit. New Albanian Brewing Company’s Bank Street Brewhouse has their own thoughts when it comes to Indiana’s food service requirement.

Permit premises where alcoholic beverages are consumed by the “drink” are required to have food service available, at all times, for at least 25 persons. Minimum food service required consists of hot soups, hot sandwiches, coffee, milk, and soft drinks (IC 7.1-3-20-9 & 905 IAC, 1-20-1).

You’ll find every state has odd rules to be in compliance to sell alcohol. It’s not every day that a brewery calls out the law.

Enjoy your $10 naked dog.

  1. Even control crazy Ontario, Canada doesn’t have that silly law. Nice menu, looks good on the lawmakers.

  2. I guess they don’t want anyone to buy hotdogs. I understand that they plan to focus solely on beer, but warm pretzels might help sell a few more beers. A salty snack needs to something to wash it down.
