Sixpoint Global Warmer Headed For Cans
By the looks of it, Sixpoint Craft Ales (Brooklyn, NY) last released a beer dubbed Global Warmer around 2008. Even then, it was draft only. This edition is about 7% ABV, a little over 2% lower than the last release.
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.

Sixpoint Apollo Returns
Summer draws closer with the return of Sixpoint Apollo. Brewmaster Jan Matysiak trained at Weihenstephaner Institute in Germany, a brewery well know for hefeweizen. The result is one of the best wheat beers you will find in a can.
The unmistakable flavor of a Bavarian Wheat, but with a clear golden brilliance and a Sixpoint twist. An entirely unique canned offering for the sun-worshipping ale lovers.

Hurricane Sandy Moves Some Kegs at Sixpoint [PIC]
This is the scene at Brooklyn, New York based Sixpoint this AM. As you can see, Hurricane Sandy moved some kegs around (water?) but it seems the brewery faired well. Brewing operations will resume when power is restored.
Love the quote from the brewery: “#Sandy was a bitch”
Sixpoint Autumnation 2012 Features Pumpkin, Citra
Sixpoint Autumnation returns. The wet hopped perennial favorite is back celebrating the fall harvest. Autumnation changes a bit each year. An online poll decided the hop strain will accompany the pumpkin in the 2012 release. Citra won the place of honor this year. Some folks from the brewery travelled to Yakima, Washington for the hop picking festivities.
Our own Brewmaster Jan Matysiak and Sixpoint Brewer Heather McReynolds traveled to Yakima to observe the festivities of the hop harvest this September. “During the time of harvest and processing, one can actually smell the hops when walking through the city of Yakima. It’s truly astounding” said Matysiak. McReynolds was equally impressed. “Being in Yakima was a truly great experience,” she remarked. “One that every brewer and homebrewer should have at least once.”
