Hess Brewing Marks New Facility’s 1 Year Annivesary
Hess Brewing kicked off brewing on their new 30 barrel brew system, in their new production facility in San Diego. First on the system was their Brunus Robustus Porter.
Some of the batch was syphoned off into Elmer T. Lee Bourbon barrels. After 13 months, it’s ready for release.
Hess Barrel Aged Brunus Robustus Porter will be available in limited 22oz bombers.

Hess Brewing Anno Unum On Sale
Tickets for Hess Brewing’s (San Diego, CA) Anno Unum are now on sale. Anno is a Belgian-style oaked IPA that celebrates the brewery’s first anniversary. Hess was founded a year ago in San Diego, brewing in truly small batches (only 5o gallons at a time.)
Tickets for this waxed, 750ml offering are on sale at BrownPaperTickets, and is limited to 200 bottles.
Anno Unum is our latest creation, an Imperial IPA fermented with a Belgian yeast strain, hopped with distinctly US hops (Chinook and Falconer’s Flight) and, in a throwback to tradition of IPAs from yesteryear, it is oaked.
