Fonta Flora Sal De Gusano joins triple bottle release day
Fonta Flora Sal De Gusano will join two other special releases on January 16th.
While the other two releases – Sun Gold, and Land Trust are lighter offerings, Fonta Flora Sal De Gusano is an imperial stout. The 11.2% alcohol by volume imperial stout has been aged in mezcal barrels with cacao nibs from Asheville, North Carolina’s French Broad Chocolates. Additionally the beer features organic vanilla beans and Outer Banks sea salt.
All three beers release at a special brewery party on January 16th.

Fonta Flora Sun Gold joins “Grisette” series
Fonta Flora Sun Gold will join Land Trust Saison in a dual release on January 16th.
Subtitled “Appalachian grisette”, Fonta Flora Sun Gold is features River Bend Malt, and local, raw, sun gold spelt from Red Tail Grains of Efland, NC. Part of the brewery’s ongoing grisette series.
This beer is part of our Grisette series that features a unique heritage grain. Much like Bloody Butcher, Sun Gold is bone dry, effervescent, rustic and tart.
Fonta Flora Sun Gold, Land Trust, plus one more beer, debut on at the brewery on January 16th.

Fonta Flora Land Trust, a special collaboration
Fonta Flora Land Trust will be available starting January 16, 2016. A collaboration with the Foothills Conservancy of North Carolina and Fox Gap Farms.
Fonta Flora Land Trust is an “Appalachian Apple Saison” that features North Carolina Riverbend Malt, barley smoked in-house with Fox Gap applewood. The saison features Fonta Flora’s mix culture saison yeast. But wait, there’s more.
Land Trust went through a second fermentation, this time with Fox Gap Farms organic apple juice, and foraged spice bush twigs. Oh yeah, there is a third fermentation in the bottle.
A portion of the proceeds from this new saison will benefit the Foothills conservation effort.

Fonta Flora Carolina Custard Releases June 13th
Fonta Flora Carolina Custard joins the Morganton, North Carolina’s Appalachian Wild Ale Series on June 13th. The date corresponds with the State of Origin Craft Beer Festival taking place on the Morgantown Courthouse Square.
Fonta Flora Carolina Custard is a white wine barrel aged wild ale featuring paw paw fruit, a fleshy, tropical fruit, indigenous to North America. Custard is fermented with a blend of Brettanoymces and Lactobacillus.
Available in 750ml bottles.

Fonta Flora Vestige Wither Wild Ale, February 7th
Fonta Flora Brewery (Morganton, NC) will release Vestige Wither American Wild Ale alongside Vestige Bloom on February 7th.
Vestige Wither is aged in red wine barrels with fennel bulb, and 100% Brettanomyces fermented. Wither has been conditioning for seven months.
500ml bottles of Fonta Flora Vestige Wither releases on February 7th, 2015.

Fonta Flora Vestige Bloom, February 7th
Fonta Flora Brewery (Morganton, NC) will release Vestige Bloom, a wine barrel aged wild ale.
Vestige Bloom: Appalachian Wild Ale: Kiwi Funk is this beer’s proper name, a wild ale with a mix of funky bacteria and yeasts. Aged in white wine barrels with North Carolina grown kiwis from Fox Farms.
