Blue Moon Brewing to Build Innovation Brewery in Denver

Blue Moon Brewing, part of MillerCoor’s craft division, Tenth & Blake, will be building a new brewery in Denver, Colorado. The site has a 2016 opening target date.

The new facility is located in Denver’s RiNo Art District, and will produce around 10,000 barrels (310,000 gallons) annually. This new facility will be an innovation and pilot brewery, complete with tasting room, and event space.

“We just locked-down a prime location in the heart of Denver’s rapidly growing RiNo Art District,” said Keith Villa, founder and head brewmaster at Blue Moon Brewing Company. “We founded Blue Moon on a belief that brewing is equal parts art and science. So it’s pretty cool that 20 years later we get to design a new brewery in an area where we’ll be surrounded by fellow artists.”

Blue Moon’s original Sandlot Brewery facility will remain operational, ever after the new site comes online.
